Michael and Sammy are like oil and water because no matter what question Patrick asked it all turned to Sammy accusing Michael and Michael defending himself and nothing actually got discussed. Michael, I’ve followed you for 15 years since I was an experienced prison chaplain for many years and introduced you to my inmates. Don’t feel bad for getting mad at Sammy and being colourful in your language. You’ve simply shown us your humanity and I appreciate you all the more for it. In fact I used to wonder with worry if your Christian faith might force you to become not real and conform too much to the religious mold. Your authenticity is what makes you so completely influential and worthy of deep respect. You stood your ground and showed yourself to be a fierce lion and I’m very relieved for it. I’m renewed in my desire to follow your work because I saw your raw anger tonight.

"The religious mold." Interesting comment, as a Christian i admit maybe I struggle w/ church culture & how to be. Maybe that's why I like men's group, prayer groups & bible study because I can be more authentic and real. But maybe I'm guilty of presenting myself a certain way too? Same in Casino when DeNiro came into his restaurant to grab Sharon Stone and he told him "Remember where you are, I don't want no balogna in my place! Be nice!"
