I've been dying for a new video! This is something that I had my mom do to my hair all the time in 4th grade. I have a picture of me wearing my hair this way with my favorite pair of overalls (thank you 90's) and I LOVE IT! Initially my mom would just do 2 french braids down the back but I hated how the part would slice down the back so she started doing 3 (I have thin hair, I think 5 would be too tight). Thanks for the opportunity to go down memory lane!

For me and my mum this is a go-to style, I absolutely love it and it's so easy to do, I always do it after I have a bath/shower and when I'm about to go sleep, just because your braids can be wacky and look ridiculous and no one is going to see. I actually did this last night and I'm turning 17 soon so I'm sure that talks plenty about how this style can be loved even if you're not a kid anymore :) Also Bray and Kayli you're both looking so glowing and beautiful as always

I do something similar, I put my hair in a lot of little normal braids usually at least 30! and it comes out in the morning looking very crimped and puffy! I love it

We've been doing this to my daughter's hair for a long time too. I have natural curls and she doesn't, so she loves getting curls like Mom. It really only takes a few minutes, and adds volume to fine her as well.

Hey Kayli! (see what I did there? 😏) Before braiding Brailee's hair, try parting it on the opposite side so that when you take the braides out, her hair will have more volume by flipping her hair BACK over to her natural part. It's a trick I learned a few years ago and it works great! By the way, both of you girls looked absolutely beautiful in this video!

I've done this for as long as I can remember, and from my experience, it depends on how well your hair holds curl. If your hair is thinner, I would do just 1 French braid. This is also good if you're hair holds curl well. If you're hair is thicker (like mine) I usually do 2 French braids

Do you have any tips on how to do this with thick and straight hair? If I go to bed with french braids, my hair will be almost completely straight when I take them out in the morning. But I love waves and I would love to see them on me without always having to use heat.

Kyra Sposny Well i'm not kayli nor am i a hair expert! so i just speak from experience. but i've done a very similar style to my younger sister's hair & her hair is fairly thick & straight! it turns out really good & the only major difference i between the way i do it & the way kayli does it is that my sister's hair is pretty wet when we put the braids in! not like soaking wet, just towel dried after she showers!
