This proves pretty visuals doesn't make a film.The person behind the animation did a really bad job. It doesn't matter if they try to imitate the look of "Alarm". If you fail to get the proper movements for your character, then the overall film will fail.

I agree completely. I think they should win awards for lighting, rendering, modelling as they were the only decent aspects of the film, bad animation, rubbish plot. No appeal at all. Basically as long as your animation looks pretty who cares how good the actual animation is, this is the mindset of competitions like this. I would rather win at the 11second club, they don't care about how pretty it looks, only how good the animation is.
