Might take some ideas from this to fix my Crackling Lance of Disintegration build. 85% shocks was cool, but I had no idea how to build an archmage character, especially since I'm SSF, so it was flimsy.

crack lance was REALLY hard to make work with archmage since you have to basically spam it. definitely better for stuff like this or cremation where you 'snapshot' your damage and do several instances of damage with one cast. still a sick skill though.

Currently I'm going all in on Spectres and using Wraithlord + some shenanigans to get 6 max spectres. It's probably worse, if not just for losing out on helm defenses and the possibility of suppress capping, but it's pretty fun.

If the High Impact mine just for the debuff, use the Goratha tech and do Portal mines. They're free.

We don't know it yet for sure but there's pretty solid and popular theory that lvl of Aura casted by those Spectres is somehow tied to total level of Raise Spectre gem

I might have to convert to this. I've doing Divine Ire totems right now but it's not as much dmg as I was hoping. Two questions: 1) I really like the idea of using specters. If those die do you need to find/buy them again? 2) Why does no one use Agnostic for builds like this? My mana regen is massively higher than my life regen and I don't need need a life flask. I haven't done a MoM build in years though so don't know what has changed.

Yes you need to rebuy spectres if they die in maps, if they die to your max spectres changing in h/o they will be a corpse on the floor. I've been playing overly safe and devoting more defense than I probably need to, but will slowly remove the layers.

I have the same question about Agnostic, on the tree it would be literally 1 point and should give massive survivability

I guess it's because there is a risk you can go OOM with agnostic. Please notice that life and mana is on the same level in this build to maximize efficiency of MoM. On some mana builds where you have ~2k life and 8k mana agnostic is widely used.

Are you taking the Amplify node just for the 10% increased AOE? Area damage modifiers do not work on Ball Lightning of Static even though it has the AOE tag

Tried running the Minions. They die every second Tier 16 map, even without juice. Getting way too expensive

There's one of the choices that can spawn in Merc Lab(3) and beyond where you can sacrifice a gem for a transfigured version of the same gem, so it's got a higher chance to get ball lightning of static than doing the Blue gem for a random transfigured blue gem.

is this build beginner friendly and low budget? started poe new and currently playing a detonate dead elementalist build. But yours look also very nice, so I think I might switch to this one. very low budget.. he's owning with his gear and it's basically just self found rares with some crafts.. you can juice this build a lot with high end uniques too though if you want

I wish there was a version for POE noobs. I’ve played 2 seasons to the point of mapping and then moved on because I couldn’t figure out the point or goal of mapping… I will tip you $20 for a build guide for noobs version of this.

The goal is to keep the character turning even stronger, you can only do that by upgrading his items and pushing higher tier maps, once you’re able to easily finish T16 maps, then you can start preparing for bossing, as there are many bosses in Path of Exile and Uber versions of them

Yes absolutely, most lightning spells work in a similar way so you should be more than ok with the other lightning spells
