After you remove the actuator, follow these steps. Those that understand, don't need much of an explanation. In other words, if you're familiar with what and where the blend door lever is, then follow the steps in the video. I know you'll understand. (For you Crown Victoria & Grand Marquise lovers.)

Thanks for sharing... That was a really good/clever/cheap/quick/temp fix. BTW: I'm old school raised low middle class (sometimes poor and didn't know it), and grew up saying "jury rigged." Yup, there was nothing some electrical tape (pre duct tape) and some new paint couldn't fix.

Man listen, I totally get it! That’s why I do it. Everybody can’t just up and drop thousands of dollars on repairs after paying thousands on the vehicle. We do it when we can, but if it makes sense to “jury rig” it until then, hey!

now i know it worked on mine maybe work on your too you dont have to take anything apart in the dash at all

to switch it take and put your heating and air on either cold or hot which ever your switching it too then turn car off raise the hood and take one of your cables off and reset your whole system then put it back on turn the car back on and should have switched it . figured that out by accident but thats alot easier

@@amandabell2826 yes, it does reset after doing this, with the actuator still in place and a bad gear...doesnt change as wanted, so i keep it set on cool, better than being stuck on hot in TX

@@jdeez1401 i love that by me accidently doing this i could help you out with that. im so glad it worked.. mine on the other hand ive gota change it and the heater core because well the switch is on top of the heater core so it went out too so. now gota finish pulling the dash out got the airbags out and just gota gind the rest of the bolts . you sure can post a video. thats a good thing for people to know
