I'm not sure a set of Powerstop brakes costing a few hundred dollars as "sexy." I have a friend that put new Wilwoods on his C8. Front & rear combined cost $28K. Now THAT'S sexy.

Good morning Scott, found over the last couple days that the brakes on my new C7 are starting to squeal a little bit. Once hopefully I get done with this intake, LOL, I'm a going to dive into getting some new rotors and pads. The gloss black wheels that I have on the C7 Grand Sport get pretty dusty after only a 15-minute drive. So this would be a nice addition. Thanks for your great content.

Hi , 2 questions, are they going to have those carbon fiber pads for C8s, and do you have to change brake rotors, with pads or can you just do pads. If that’s the case, is changing the rotors just for looks( slotted) style. Thank you
@Team5124 жыл бұрын
Yes they will. Drilled and slotted rotors can offer a performance advantage by more quickly removing the gasses created under hard stopping as well as increased cooling. As long as their's life left on the rotor surface, there's no real need to change the rotors, unless you're looking for the performance advantages. Appreciate the comment!

Ok, thanks. I would be inclined to buy rotors also. Like the drilled/ slotted look. Do you have an email signup on your website to receive updates like that. Thanks again

I just saw on your website the email sign up.... suggestion mention the email sign up on your videos.

Meant to mention, I will never track the car, maybe 2k miles a year, but I do like that look.

@@kurtthomas4746 I also like the look of the drilled and slotted rotors. Just saw that you found the email sign up. Thanks! We're working on our C8 page now. Lots more products to add. Quick question, are you experiencing any excessive brake dust issues currently?
@amazinggrace3133 жыл бұрын
So did you get considerably less brake dust?

Is this kit overkill for a stock C6 base?

Not at all! It’s a great upgrade to the stock setup.

So you're telling me my brakes are going to start smoking when I bed-in the pads? I've always regarded noise as a signal a car gives the driver when it is in distress. "Smoke?" That's even worse.

Do you offer this package for a c6 z51 package car? The rear rotors a little bigger in the z51 cars.
