No worries about the artificial grass that the clients wanted. Thats the explanation and no one needs to get excited about it. The work you and your crew put together is fabulous - the yard looks great and I love how you tuck in edibles wherever you can keeping in mind your clients desire. Great work!

What can I say ? Your designs look very professional. What an alternate...we could do a lot to improve our climate & air alone by building more native, lower water utilizing landscapes everywhere. I so concur on the water. I hate when I see parks here in the Phx area watering at non-peak times...even in the evenings ! Water just before the sun comes up in the summer & hotter months ! The water is at it's coolest pt; so is the atmosphere. Cooler water, best absorption w/ less evaporation--and NO wet feet ! Water early, deep & infrequent I always say. Inspirational, Pete !

Glad you weren't working in the 100 degree heat we've been having lately. By the way, any advice on moles or voles here in central Florida? This past winter I see like 8" holes, especially on the north side of the property. Lots of worms there,but also roots from honeysuckle, ferns, ivy etc.. Now not seeing them as much as it is dry, but what can I do about them? First time I've seen this in 7 years. Are they moles or voles or some other creature? Thanks Pete.

Not sure for y’all. We hauled all these plants in from the Tampa area. I would check for native nurseries in your area.

Yes, I blame the fertilizers for all the algae bloom/fish kills we keep having here in Florida. I wish people would stop. Manicured green lawns are such a waste... This looks great Pete.

Hey Kyle! Not sure we hauled these plants in from our farm and tampa. I’d look for a local native nursery.

Proud grasshole here. However, I have great respect for what you do as well and in fact, I'm the gateway drug. Wish you'd see if that way too. I utilize bio-char in my fert for example. Chicken litter, humic acid and sea kelp too. I even mow in Birkenstocks sometimes. 👊

Just get some cows or goats or something we just don't like wasted space and unless you're like a golf course or something grass is kind of a waste

That gas wheelbarrow should be electric. Costs less to refuel, less maintenance, no noise and no pollution.
@Wilbsss

time is money though and the sheer number of batteries you would need to keep it working for a full 8hr day would be a fair few and add a lot to the purchase price.

Cars go hundreds of miles on one charge and that wheelbarrow is not as heavy either, the quietness and I turn more usage time of day will also help pay Can charge during breaks and lunch
@Wilbsss
@Wilbsss 5 жыл бұрын
@@gordybishop2375 this is not a car. It's purpose is to move material. It has significantly less space for batteries. Why do you think electric lawnmowers are only useable for small courtyards and not big yards? Both cannot hold batteries with enough capacity for big jobs, simple as that. Battery power would reduce the wheel barrow load size due to extra volume and weight over a small 2 stroke engine.
