Good morning Louie ☕☕☕ At least you got some water for the pasture!! That's how we get through the summer.. but it's also the only place we have water..

Yes sir. Glad we could get it. It started raining a few days back and did get 2.5 inches but it was so dry that even the cement and pavement absorb it up. 😩

That drought is not good. At least you’re making the best of it…👍

Trying, we will do ok under our circumstances, we have some areas with good hay on them and should help make it through.

Louie. Isn’t it funny what grows when dry. And even grass in driveway grows. lol. We have had rain but subsoil not much moisture so with the wind and upper 90’s it won’t take us long to be back in drought. Good luck my friend

Well we got 2.5 inches of rain at the hay fields, but it was absorbed by the wind. 🤣 Hope I have some moisture to green the grass up some to make hay. It's dont look good for us and thinking I will not be selling any hay and feed my own cattle.

A month ago, water in the main ditch was about 3 ft deep, today the bottom of the ditch is visible........the Cotton Peanut and corn boys could use some Water, Our Regrowth keeps getting a shower about every 10 days... nothing big but keeps it going.....

Much better condition than us. We got 2.5 inches of rain, but the asphalt took all of it. Have a great day Dave.

Sorry to hear about your weather conditions. In a flood watch here, one little river was expected to rise 13' overnight about 60 miles away

Its all good Jim. I think I will be cutting hay soon. Dont know if I will be selling any hay and possibly will use all of it for our cattle. Our summer water situation does not look good per the weather guessers.

Hey Louie, that is amazing how fast is greens up. Hopefully you get rain. Did all those vegetable fields get cut off?
@southtexashay7776 ай бұрын
It really does, I think the grass is striving to survive 🤣 They do but have other means of watering them ether by reserved water from other places or wells, but that is also being monitored.
