Saiki's voice is that of an unsettled soul, and Kanami's voice is the angel soothing that soul.

The difference between a good singer, and a great singer. A good singer will sing the song, hit every note perfect, make the song hit your ears so nicely. A great singer will preform the song, stress their voice with emotion, make the song hit you right in the heart.
A great singer, is akin to a great story teller. The words and how they’re delivered move both heart and soul. Saiki is definitely a great singer!

Great comment. Same for the other instruments. It's not just technique. That's why this band is so special, touching your heart.

Ok, so now you have done both Anemone and Puzzle acoustic. In concert they were adjoined. I can't imagine being there in person for this performance. Grown men crying everywhere ;) .

Kanami's guitar used in the video is a K. Yairi SJY13H Steve Hicks Custom Electro-Acoustic. You can find it on Equipboard under Kanami Tono. Saiki always brings the emotion with her singing. Kanami's harmonies proves she can sing, just chooses not to.
@normanweaver79353 ай бұрын
I saw that on equipboard, but I'm not so sure. The headstock markings and bridge shape of the SJY13H are different than what's on the guitar she's playing here. The Hicks has an Alvarez shaped bridge (I call it a Zappa) while the guitar she's playing here has a fairly standard looking straight one I think it's a K.Yairi RF 65CE NT like the one that showed up in the WD score book

A really beautiful song made even more beautiful by this performance. It comes after Daydreaming (track 11, Anemone is 12) on the World Domination album (2018). After ten tracks of progressive hard rock awesomeness, Daydreaming and Anemone hit like a massive one, two emotional punch. A truly great band showcasing their immense talent for all things rock. Regarding the lyrics, I've never really needed to know the lyrics to completely enjoy a Band-Maid song, but usually they are fabulous. Here's a little example of some of Anemone's lyrics: "No matter how, no matter how No matter how dear you are to me Slowly up, eventually The magic spell will be broken I know that, but still While our hands are still holding If only time would stop in this moment" Pure genius.

Ah...ROTN2. Classic. Love the shirt.😂 These two live on stage with the acoustic guitar always create magical moments. And someone always unleashes those onion ninjas. Great reaction again. "That's good. It makes you feel. And that's what music is all about." Absolutely right sir. And what a great time to listen to music. The era of Band-Maid. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘 Next: "From Now On" OMV, an amazing instrumental "Play" OLMV a song started out as a instrumental, but Saiki wanted in on the fun and asked Miku to write lyrics to this one. "Alone" OMV a milestone song in Band-Maid history. The first song the Maid wrote/composed which was approved by the Label.

In the original version, it's Kanami who makes her guitar cry. Saiki is a singer who sings with her soul. Did you react to About Us? No, it's not to see The Gringa cry, I swear. THANKS

When Band-Maid slows down their music during a live concert, "Anemone" is one song all the fans love to hear. It's such a beautiful song, beautifully performed bay Kanami and Saiki. I'm not crying, it's you tha...oh no, it is me. I think it's Kanami's harmonies, which are rarely heard, against Saiki's intensely emotional voice. They get me every time, no matter how many times I watch this performance (which was straight after the acoustic Puzzle in the same concert). The two voices and that sweet guitar are just very moving. PS Love the MISA/Akane t-shirt - and the naughty one too!

😂😂😂😂... As usual you come in clutch with the magnificent comments and get us laughing! .. I completely agree with you on Saiki's vocals... Her ability to portray emotion and hit you right in the chest is unmatched and then you add Kanami's soft voice on top of it and the jitters immediately happen all over the body. These girls are most definitely something special and we feel fortunate to have discovered their music and become fans. See you again soon brother 🍻

So this one is for Gringa, next you pick their faster and heavier stuff. I've just checked the list of your reaction videos and from what I can see, you might like fast, chaotic and those leaning towards Metal. I would say you'd be more into Giovanni and Blackhole. Or pick up anything from Unseen World, Sense single and Unleash EP. Thanks for the reaction. I fully recommend the studio version of Anemone.

Another example of the breadth and skill of this band. And you MUST see Band Maid live--always an amazing show. A head's up, Saiki is now playing the keyboards for a solo version of "Choose Me", but I don't think that is available currently. For heavier fare, you can check out "I Still Seek Revenge" off Unseen World. Just an audio track though. Cheers.
