I busted my head twice since early August. Cuts to the head bleed like crazy! Fortunately, a plastic surgeon was staying in the same place as me on the first instance. I believe my wife may be getting me a noggin protector for my upcoming birthday.

Definitely need to see Hillbilly get his Bronco II get fixed up because he's always there for you when you need him. BFG and KMC will surely help out with the wheels and tires. Paul Cox would help with the underside and of course you can paint it.

The JK bolt pattern is 5x5. The Bronco II has 5x4.5. The older Wranglers and Cherokees also had a 5x4.5 pattern so that's why Hillbilly's spare could have come from a Jeep, just an older model.

This is what I was about to post too! Something else to watch for is that starting with the WJ Grand Cherokee, the Grands should all be 5x5 as well. Now the KJ and KK Liberties and Nitro should be 5x4.5, but I don’t know if that hub will fit through the center.

Hillbilly needs to come down to Southern California. There's a million or so lifted & tricked out low to-no-rust Rangers & Explorers still kicking around here. All the same powertrain, interior, and running gear as the Bronco-II and old enough to be had dirt cheap.

You guys make me feel old. I bought a brand new 1984 Bronco II in September of 1983. Rolled it in June of 84 and it took 3 months to get parts to fix it. At the time it was worth to much to total. Still miss the 79 Bronco I traded in for it.

I've always found that the factory seats and belts work really well. I would not replace the seats until they are actually worn out.

boy he loves that Bronco 2 .. if you find an International scout frame the body will bolt right to it with a 2.5 inch spacer bar on each side rail , we had 1 on the 90s and it was fun as hell till we rolled it down a 200 ft. fire road drop-off.

If the Bronco is the same bolt pattern as a ranger (4.5 on 5) that's the same as the TJ, XJ, and ZJs. You need a 4.5 on 5 to 5 on 5 to work for JK wheels. Get an adapter for Hillbilly Robbie!

You could put the wrangler axles and tires on the Cherokee. They are a good up grade to stock XJ axles.

Jeep tire patterns changed between TJs and JKs in 2007. Changed from 5x4.5 to 5x5. You can get adapters/spacers so those wheels would fit his bronco.

I had a 1986 Ranger, put a 3" lift, and 31X10.50's on it. Rubbed a little in the corners, but looked awesome as heck. Had to put some cheesy wheel flares to keep it legal, but it looked great.
