Why is no one selling their Veve collectibles? Let us know below! All Love
@Jayessdablu2 ай бұрын
All this talk about VeVe being dead. I think you guys are the best candidates to discuss what it would take for VeVe to be “dead“. For example, I think looking at drop performance is an indicator of the health. What is the barrier for success for a drop? If VeVe drops a comic or collectible and only sells 10% is that considered a failure? You are fantastic at analytics maybe you should look at the overall performance of the drops by season and based off of drop performance, you can tell VeVe‘s current health. We know what success looks like. Seasons, one through three compared to the remaining seasons? I think this is a great way to identify what it will take for VeVe to be “dead“

As a disillusioned Veve user, I never comment on KZbin videos, as I prefer to wait for the wind to blow one way or another. I do appreciate the analysis your channel offers, so here are my two-cents: as a life-long, true comic book fan and collector of 46 years I must mention that the only people still interested in these comics are flippers. These comics are poor offerings; they are not true facsimile editions like the ones DC is putting out. No original ads, letter columns, checklists, Stan's Soapbox, gatefold covers, back covers, wraparound covers, special covers (X-Men #25). This leaves the door open to the inevitable double-dip, where Veve WILL try to sell newer, facsimile versions, tanking the value of these early editions. When I (rarely) reply to posts about this on the Veve feed I am told these editions will always be "first", and thus hold their value. Poppycock. Maybe to flippers. I am no flipper. I anxiously await the day Veve wakes up and realizes that they are still catering to the wrong crowd and offer a REAL comic book store experience, where I walk in, find something I like, and buy it at cover price. Not because it's rare, not to make a buck, but because it is available in abundance and interests me. Until then, the 300 comics I already bought I consider "poster art", to be hung up in some unforeseeable future VR space. Keep the dream alive, folks.

I’m trying to floor my entire vault and it’s hard to sell anything without undercutting the next person. I’m happy to just break even at this point. Wasted too much time on veve. Life is great not consumed by it anymore. Being able to let go was hard at first. It was fun, but the app sucks with boring same showroom which is just a skybox with a building. They should’ve had multiple showrooms to choose from by this time. Team gave up on fun and people are bored. But it’s a blessing being able to break free from the consumption of hopes.

A few months ago my vault was valued at about 13k. After selling fir 2 weeks my total was less than 5k to my bank account. Was a gamble and i lost.

i'm flooring, but every week/month the prices go lower. so i have to keep lowering my prices every single time. the moonies are in denial.

@@Kiko_Collects it sucks what happened to the market. Most people seemed to make the bad decision of diamond handing including me. Luckily I can break even to just a small loss. Sometimes its best to move on. Had fun while it lasted, but the team basically sucks and doesn’t even care to improve the app and constant delays is exhausting. I found veve through crypto, now Ill stick to crypto.😎

Low volume is to be expected after most the folks who were going to leave have already left and those still here are maintaining, that's only natural cycle progression, everyone is on wait and see mode. It's only if everyone maintaining starts flooding the market on masse that one would have to worry. Anyone who's still holding that joined only to speculate and no other reason probably came in with "this is lost money and will probably go to zero" mindset... since they've committed to profit or zero, they have no reason to sell right now.

Probably need to look at the Macros. The price of living, economy, interest rates etc. greatly restrict the general population to spend on items that are not necessities. When the situation improves and there is a better environment for people to spend things may improve. Of course, you do need to attract people to your products.

I'm selling right now because I am sick of Veve and the slow progress, radio silence and there clear lack of regard for their old primary fan base. If it takes off one day so be it but I have seen enough now to move on.

Too much saturation and different projects and drops that don't matter such as all the accessories like what utility do these provide? move on to bigger better projects, or dont have drops and focus on developing the app or website/vvv. I like the burn feature recently but why is there a time limit on these burns? a fraction of the supply gets burnt on the initial drop and then holders get stuck holding the bag

AF 15 retailed for 20 gems, so the uncommon is still selling for 4x the drop price. And that’s the least popular rarity- the common is 160 gems, and the SR is 5K! What an odd comic to point to and claim that VeVe is dead!

prices go lower & lower. the team is doing nothing to give users value that users actually care about. the things they do give users are 2+ years too late way past their deadlines that they lied about. ppl no longer trust yu & his deception. veve has no transparency. they don't even do ama's anymore. yu hides behind all his moonies.
