Just a tip. Use aluminum tape over those connectors. Takes a lot more heat and doesn't melt back. It's the only way to go. You could even use both together. I do sometimes. Nice repair.

You can also heat from the other side.

Hi i would recommend just watching youtube channels it free and you can find great information on here check out northridgefix channel its a good place to start anything you need to learn will be on his channel :)
