NO PRESSURE WASHER: Wash & Decontaminate a rare Chevy SS

This Chevy SS is rare -- just 1 of 44 ever made. That, on its own, makes for an interesting watch. But Nick and Yvan like to keep things interesting, so the goal here is to also wash the car without using a pressure washer. To show that yes...it can be done!!! What say you?

Watching this from New Zealand had me laughing, here we call them Commodores, built by Holden (GM) in Adelaide Australia. They were a dime a dozen here until Holden ceased production in Australia in 2017. They are absolutely fantastic vehicles and were the staple workhorse here for decades, the final edition GTSR W1 packed 640Hp and 815Nm, anyone familiar with "Australian Touring Cars / V8 Supercars" will know the performance these things could aquire, there's an annual 1000km race held in Sydney at Mt. Panorama/Bathurst and guys were throwing these thigs around at damn near 300kph 25 years ago. I was a JDM fan as a teenager but since these things have ceased production my respect for them has grown so much, what an awesome machine they were.

Good stuff. I detail without a pressure washer all the time in my driveway. Eventhough, I have an active pressure washer with a frankenstein mtm setup lol We just don't have the weather here to enjoy using lots of foam and/or water.

Oh neat! Helpful for guys like me who don't have access to a pressure washer. Good to know the dilution ratios for use in the IK 12 Foamer, I'll definitely give Incredible Suds a try now (I was only interested in trying out the Rinseless wash at first)!

If your a weekend warrior, would you buy a IK larger 6 liter foaming sprayer or an inexpensive pressure washer? Both seem around same price. Rinseless wash guy but wanting to try incredible suds.

I spent all kinda time and money setting up my Pressure washer system with a nice Hose reel and all so it was quick and easy. Yet I hardly use it because I wash the car 95% time in the garage and dont like using the pressure washer in there. So its like 90% rinseless and 10% hose

You guys made me a rinseless guy, but want to add another process on my belt. I don’t have a pressure washer, so I use a garden hose. Is there another option to foam incredible suds on, than the expensive IK foamer shown here? Is there a smaller IK foamer? Or isn’t that worth it? Any other videos that I missed with you guys not using a pressure washer? Video of: Using incredible suds with no pressure and a smaller pump foamer?

Good idea. There are hose foamers available, but they are not as effective.

I don’t dry my car after washing, I know that’s no the best thing but it’s either that or I don’t wash the car. It’s not garage kept and I think the crud on the car will do more damage then a slight amount of water spots. I found that using a pressure washer and rinsing throughly I don’t have water spots like I do with just a garden hose
