Man, I was all in until they are ok with ultra processed as long as it's plant based. 🙄🙄 Processed is processed and plant based foods are some of the worst offenders.

I started eating clean when I had a health scare. There are very few things you can actually buy from a supermarket that don't contain crap. It's definitely worth doing though. I've never had more mind clarity and body energy.

This is such a great video- the recognition to social issues and the accessibility of this is super thoughtful. So glad you’re doing this, and I can’t wait to learn more! “Beets me” haha

Good going. It's nice to see a young couple eating healthy. Remember fast food is also very processed and uses seed oils repeatedly. Cooking from scratch will be the next task. I recommend two items: Instant Pot and Air Fryer. You can get a 6 qt instant pot and add an air fryer lid.

Wow I'm surprised you don't have more followers. This is an amazing project. I will stay tuned. Subscribed! I know it's easy to get angry at food companies. They don't care if our families get diabetes heart disease and cancer. It's horribly unethical and a movement needs to be started. I am happy to join it.

Today I was suddenly turned off at the grocery store. I looked carefully at labels and chose the ones with less ingredients and avoided high fructose corn syrup and tons of preservatives. Many items I usually buy just gave me an “ick” factor. I’m starting to opt for more produce and other Whole Foods. Many people are becoming inspired, I hope we can move away from so many harmful chemicals in our food. Cheers to a healthier USA

Love this video so much i love the research! (ICD scientist) i went vegan 3 years ago after watching "What the Health" on netflix and i started with vegan alternatives like impossible meats and morning star and they started making me super sick because of the processing so i started making my own with tofu and have finally after 3 years become a master its also very beneficial to my wallet lol now im trying to go even less preservative because im also celiac and gf foods are normally highly processed so i want to follow in your foot steps! I also love farmers markets and helping smaller businesses so this whole video is amazing ilysm lol

Highly recommend the book Unprocessed by Megan Kimble. Read her book for a case study i worked on a few years back. She does the same experiment for a year to understand our food system and what “processed” means

Thank you so so much. Im in canada and beenntrying to fimd like minded people to talk about this and its extremely taboo. You can easily get attacked personaly on social media for trying to talk about how processed food is creating health issues. Its so difficult here to find organic and fresh produce. Everything comes from mexico, california, danmark and other far countries. And its super expensive too. Drs dont even know that processed food is inflamatory. Where do you live ? I f I wasnt chronicaly ill and could work to save money Id move in a cpuntry where healthy food is esily accessible. My goal today is to find where that place would be. If you know let me know.

The way you acknowledge privilege and indigenous people. I want to listen to you. Have started the thirty days of no processed food . The supermarket shopping took a long time as I looked at food labels . New Zealand is not as bad as the US but it is potentially on its own .

Unfortunately the “plant based” products that replace meat are way worse for you than meat ever will be. So very processed and lack much of the nutrients that meat does.

Look up what ultra processed means. It does not mean “cooked” or “baked” or “kneaded”.
