JIMMY PAGE AND ROBERT PLANT FOREVER! LONG LIVE ROBERT PLANT!
@randallbates90204 жыл бұрын
I was blessed to see these guys in the old Boston Garden, they closed the old barn right, only these guys could do it that justice. Even Plant mentioned it and how many memories where made there. They left the greatest memory of all, and played for over 3 hrs that night. I will never forget that night as long as I live! Zeppelin#1

If you listen to Page play here in the 90s sober, he is worlds beyond worlds better than he was in the late 70s early 80s when he was all doped up. His performance here is just flawless.
@danielglenn915 Жыл бұрын
Twenty years of playing it also helped.
@trishafisher7807 Жыл бұрын
He was always flawless! They always delivered stoned or not on smack or not! And Robert was also an addict just different substances.. they all were! Do your research!! This is an acoustic version that’s why! Page always delivered!

@@trishafisher7807 You are absolutely correct. It always cracks me up how people think they can PROPERLY critique Artists gifted by God's........

Agreed. Saw them 1977 when the "sign fight" occurred: waited 2.5hr.s & he was stumbling on heroin. Awesome though 👍

@trishafisher Thank you! Couldn’t agree more. Always amazes me when people who could NEVER match these guys’ talent HAVE to criticize them to somehow make themselves seem better-hilarious really.

Led Zeppelin was my first concert when I was sixteen. I had the pleasure of seeing this show and was blown away again. No one can come close to their talent. I felt like Robert was singing Thank you me. I was mesmerized. I had tears flowing down my cheeks. Takes me back. ❤ Thank YOU!

jimmy's solo! there are other greats who can make the guitar moan or sing or whine.. but jimmy's are always beautiful in the way that they are strong and yet have that character of somebody hitherto shy opening up, and there are strong emotions that flood the whole delivery.. its like somebody split an artery. In that way its holistic too.

This was awesome saw them in concert and I was 20 years old in 1998 walking into Clarksdale tour. The only thing that is missing is I wish they would have invited Jones and just called themselves page plant and Jones! They didn't even need to use the name Led Zeppelin it wasn't just been nice for all three of them the tour together in the mid-90s

Agreed, many of the British artists from the 60's and 70's were wild and crazy, and without the performance enhancers, actually play with much more feeling, the music coming from the heart and soul rather than from a clouded mind.
