OMG YAYYYY I asked you if you could do a video for this song, all the way back in 2015! I haven't really picked up my ukulele since then, and today I come on to search for what I might like to try learning again, and here's the song!!! :D :D :D 5 whole years later!!!

I am trying to learn the song as a surprise for a friend and this is the only video I can find that is clear and easy to learn from!! Thank you for the life saver!!

Great teaching. (Love the "bringing-in attention span" concept .) Only thing I can think of that might make your classes more helpful would be a play-through of the whole song (or most of it) at the beginning of each lesson...so that students have an overview of where it's all heading. This is especially helpful when teaching a fingerstyle/solo ukulele transcription. Although we might already be familiar with the basic rhythm & melody, there's is always a kind of 'mental translation' from the original to the ukulele. Once that is established...the learning process proceeds more smoothly. Again, thanks for all the great teaching !

This song was played at my wedding reception. It wasn't the first dance (that was "This is not a Lovesong" by P.I.L., because it was a punk rock wedding) the mother-in-law requested it, she was a hip lady. Nice song choice and quality tutorial. I would expect nothing less.

Gavin Wood I’ve been singing a lot, this one was just way too high for my voice unfortunately.

I don't know if you've taught it (maybe in your guitar videos) but it would be great to learn Nutshell by Alice and Chains. It was a great band back in the 1990s . Just an idea, just in case you want to do it for guitar or uke :) It's a great song.

I have never done Alice in Chains but I always have meant to or wanted to. They have so many songs that we need to do!

Hey Tyler! Do you think you could maybe make some Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots or Alice in Chains tutorials in the future? The grunge ones are my favorites to try on your channel as a beginner and as a grunge music lover lol
@TenThumbsProductions3 жыл бұрын
Yes to all of those, I have learned a song by all three of them on the Ukulele before, and almost taught all three of them, I will do them all in the near future because they are amazing bands.
