man I've been throwing knives for about 5 yrs now and I use the same techniques you do; the first thing I looked at was your throwing knives and DAMN...you knives are thick as hell!! I thought you made them but you can buy them; cool! I've found out that 12 in throwing knives are good for me and an ounce per inch is a good way to measure weight; it took me 45 min to stick it in wood from 3ft away..i was so frustrated but when I finally did it I was so happy! A year later I was throwing them from 23 feet away with both hands! GREAT VID MAN!

drunkNun drunkNun lul, ive researched and thrown knives for years. Do you throw? I agree there is full spin, half spin, 1/4 (shown in video) and true no spin. If the blade makes rotation after leaving your hand between 90 degrees and 45 degrees its 1/4 spin. If you do an actual no spin throw, there is no possibility of over or under rotation from early or late release Again great video, good info.

Many thanks for the video! My son wanted to try blade throwing. I told him, he had to get a handle for archery first. Two years later, I find myself buying competition blades (a deal's a deal), knowing jack on the subject. We checked out a bunch of tube vids and found yours the most helpful. Liked how you showed the variations W/O over explaining, unlike many others. Slow motion was helpful, too. Wish a closer/slower look at the hands, tho. The kid and I find the grip and release more critical than stance... but what to I know? Thanks!

After getting the master quest from Celadin, you can go back to him and keep farming the master knife technique from him and max out your knife throw to over 25 . If you tried killing him in the village, he has 1000 hit points and is virtually unkillable but he will always remain hostile to you and you can't get any more quests from him.

Very helpful, as I said before, haven't thrown in over 40 years but, never did no spin til now, and I'm right handed, and just now started throwing with my left, and surprised that I actually do no spin better with my Left hand. Thank you for your indepth instruction !!!

This helped my knife throwing a lot, I used to pretty much just throw and hope it landed in the target, but now that you showed me all these different techniques, I am landing throws a lot more consistently. Great tutorial, and showing all the mistakes I can make helps as well.
