I only learned about no stich wallets through your channel. I was skeptical of the concept but it's growing on me, and these designs are very clever.

These are very cool! Lo Esencial is fascinating, and super well-priced. I love the Loyal Stricklin Johnny, which is the first stitchless wallet I learned of from this channel. I'll point out that old-favorite, Lost Dutchman has their stitchless (and snapless) Franklin wallet available now. And going with snaps, the great Willow Craft Goods has two, horizontal "pouch" style wallets, the Milo (wonderful, quite minimal) and the Toby, which has a modular component for changing up the looks, and was, near as I can tell, a "solution" to the problem of not having the outside "quick access" pocket on other horizontal pouch wallets. Hunter came up with a brilliant design to address that.

Yo soy mexicano y realmente me gustan sus videos, felicidades. Además los productos de lo essencial me parecen muy prácticos y originales. Espero y haga un outboxing de la bifold wallet ii. Saludos cordiales.

I've eyeballed Lo Esencial for a while, since I saw your first video on the Bifold wallet, and ended up with the Classic II. I think my favorite thing about them, and the ones you have are probably the same, is how strong the leather smell is. I feel like I smell the thing just from pulling it out of my pocket!

A couple of clever designs there. I actually like that way of putting the cards in the bifold 👍🏻 Both are nice and clean looking. No stitching to come undone. I did 😂 @ 7:41. Love it 🙂

Yes they do! I have a review that will be out next weekend on it. It’s now our highest ranking wallet.

I've had the N1 for almost a year and it's been great so far. Took me a bit to decide cause I wasn't so sure about the snap thing. I might buy a second one since I tried to "take care" of the leather by cleaning it with saddle soap and then applying some wax. The issue was the wax, is not what I wanted and the finish it's a bit messy now. If is not gone after a few months I'll just get a second one. :(

My biggest issue with most leather wallets is how the stitching gets worn out after a year or so. I love the concept of these origami wallets, but not a fan of snaps or zippers on wallets.

Fun fact: the owner was in a reality show where the winner gets money support for their project... He was ok, but didn't win. Same lineup of product and brand.

Are there really more Arabic words in Mexican Spanish than in Spain Spanish? I thought Mexican Spanish had more American English-related words. Sorry for the tangent, but Spain Spanish is my first language and it interests me. Lovely wallets, by the way 😁😁😁
@walletopia2 жыл бұрын
Great question. Spain Spanish used to have loads of Arabic in it due to the Moorish residency after invasion of the Iberian Peninsula in the 700’s, which lasted 700 years. There was a significant effort starting in the 18th century to begin removing them. That effort never happened in Mexico, so they ended up with more Arabic words today than Spain Spanish.

Also, in Mexican dialect there are many words from Nahuatl (and other local languages) living along Arabic and Spanish words, some of them even have jumped to English, like chocolate, tomato or avocado.

can you explain why the price on their website is 699 dollars?
@wagstaff61352 жыл бұрын
$ is also MEX$ which is pesos. At today's conversion rate (3/21/22) $699 (MEX$) = $34.44 (USD). The postage/shipping will sting a little bit though.
@Melker632 жыл бұрын
$599 for a leather wallet? But then again; there is a certain type of customer that would not even consider buying the exact same wallet for, let say $59. It h a v e to be expensive - and expensive enough to make a point
@walletopia2 жыл бұрын
That’s peso, not dollars, it’s a bit confusing on their website

Definitely a unique looking set of wallets, not my cup of tea, though. Way too flimsy looking.

The quality doesn't look very good.

It's a full grain veg tanned leather, but it's also dyed and the flesh side is not sanded as much as we might see in a Horween or Wickett and Craig leather.
