Thank you! I love to sing but it always ends up hurting, I knew there had to be a solution! Specially because I've been asked to sing in church, a bit scared but excited, it's always good to go out of the comfort zone, and I will be singing with my husband, who's been leading worship since the crib. But it seems so easy when he does it! Never a vocal lesson, just a strong voice and a guitar.

Lucía Ayala There are so many worship leaders with these issues - that's why we love to help! It can be especially difficult for women too, as a lot of songwriters and leaders are male, so they write songs in keys that are comfortable for the male voice. Never be afraid to ask the band to change a key for you - chance are the ladies in the congregation will all thank you for it... Check out more advice on our podcast: www.helpmyvoice.com

This makes more sense to me, I’m just starting getting into vocal training and when I attempt to worship on my own at home I noticed how horsed my voice is afterwards. This is great Tips thank u

+Devin Topf Music That’s sadly very common. Worship singers now are more likely to have vocal damage than pop star. Pain/hoarseness (which I used to think was part of the job) really means your body is screaming for us to reach those notes the healthy way. 🙂

Thanks Jesus. I'll be posting a series of videos that give specific tips on how to sing specific songs better and I could really use some more worship song suggestions. Send me one and you'll hear me sing it wrong way and the "better....faster" way. :)

Just a question but when singing aren't you supposed to keep your body aligned for the best sound? That you!
@TheVoiceClub2 жыл бұрын
Nope. It’s a lie everyone teaches & has no clue where it came from- that was for women in 50lb dresses to keep them from tipping over or fainting. Your vocal anatomy can do 100% without any help from any other body part. Check my story series to see how I got to prove it.

Hey I like you 😃 But I really hate that, I sing a perfect line and then I sound like a turkey with diareah, then I sound decent, and then back to a perfect line. Thanks for the tips, how much do I owe you.
