I hate to disagree with you guys but I am PUMPED for this movie. I love the Matera suit (looking for an alternative in my price range) and I have to be honest, this is my first Bond film to go see in a theater, so I'm really excited about it. Of course, I have my issues with the sartorial side and some of the feedback but I can't help but be really excited about this film!!

Great work guys, I’m with you we don’t need to buy suits and garments from the films we wouldn’t utilise. That said I’m a big fan of the Matera suit. If the film is set in Winter then having a corduroy suit will make sense. It does get cold out there this time of year even tho it’s nothing but blue skies! Ps - your average Joe Darlington :-)

Agree - the press conference may have been shaky but the Thom Sweeney suit is killer. I’ll get some furrowed brows for saying that I love that he adds whimsical quirks with the sneakers.

I remember when Bond wore that black cardigan and 7FAM Jeans.... the fans went ballistics! "Bond should never wear jeans!!!!" "That cardigan made Bond look like a grandpa!!!!" "Bond's outfit are way too casual!!!! They are destroying the Bond style with contemporary style!!!!" I think I will withhold judgement until I see those outfits in context in the film, and also in action. 🙂

I have a theory on the Sperry boat shoes! I like you David and Craig, went to High School in the 80’s, and my self imposed uniform during that time, was either an Izod polo shirt and jeans, an Izod polo shirt and khakis, and of course Sperry or Timberland boat shoes. Perhaps as a retired agent, Bond is trying to recapture a glimpse of his past?

Luv worn t-shirt at home more relaxing n carefree, wont mind the Matera suit if they sent me one in size 38/32 pant, tie bar is a touch of class always been wearing even way back in high school n a host in restaurant

I'm not sure the costume designers do know more than someone like Matt Spaiser, at least not when it comes to suits anyway. Look at the fit of the suits in Skyfall, and also Spectre to a lesser extent. Those suits did not fit correctly, and it wasn't a Tom Ford issue, because his suits are not intended to fit that tight. The casual outfits have been great, though.

A lot of weird outfit choices for this film.. Only thing I really like are the sperrys (bought them immediately), the Jamaica outfit doesn’t look bad. Then the white Henley. Everything else is a weird look.

The watch is blurred out? To me it seems fairly clear that it's the the black ceramic Seamaster on a rubber strap. (An epic watch BTW, I've tried it on a couple of times, but I think it's much overpriced.) EDIT: I don't mean the standard Diver 300 in black - I mean the larger version without a date function, where the whole case is made from black ceramic instead of steel.
