I went to a pedicurist and asked them if they could just put a nail on for me and they made me feel like I was crazy for asking. I called a podiatrists doctor and asked for help there and they said there was nothing that could be done. Definitely not crazy I had ingrown nail problems for years and I was tired and done with the pain and my doctor was totally happy I decided to get them removed and though it was the best thing to do it’s Been probably 2 months and I’m hoping they don’t grow back she said it was 50/50 but don’t eee anything yet definitely recommend getting them removed so much better

I had my toenails removed over 25 years ago and struggled with self confidence in the first hwearing sandals. Of course when I would get brave enough there was always someone that said something and embarrassed me! I’m a licensed cosmetologist and I have been doing acrylics for several years (on myself) but I’m doing good to get a couple day before they pop off! I have found that waterproof wig glue works amazingly well to put the back on and I can get as long as I want out of the nails! Just thought I’d throw that out there for people that struggle to keep the acrylic on!

thanks for the tip , i have no finger nails , or toe nails , all gone , well just little bits left ,poking out of the matrix , i struggle with self confidence and like your self i have trouble keeping them on , iv tried gel super glue ,that's ok but it still only last a week on my fingers , i can get my gel nails to stay for 3 weeks on my toes , so im going to look into waterproof wig glue cheers

I Thank God for you!! I just had toenail removed and a new one likely won't grow back. I can't remember the name of the condition. but my toenails are not connected to nail bed due to injury and the outer toenails are thick and dead.. You helped make my day!! Thank you so much for posting this video! A few years ago I had my ingrown toenail removed...the whole nail such as yours. I think mine is so ugly I never wear open toe shoes unless it’s around someone I’m comfortable with, I do sometimes wear flip flops but I’m always hiding my foot or making sure people aren’t looking. You give me hope. My mom decided she was tired of my ingrown big toe nails when I was a little girl. She had all my toe nails removed on my big toes, even the nail bed removed, then sewed shut. I basically have two bald headed toes. I've been so embarrassed all my life. I have cried, been depressed, hidden my feet and walked all the woman always have gorgeous shoes and pretty toes. So you give me hope. I will try to figure it out for myself but I only have skin to attach to.

I had to have one of my toenails removed 3 years ago due to trauma and for the past 2 summers i had to hide it because it was so ugly and it was trying to grow back but it would die not even half way up my toe and I had three layers of dead thick discolored nail growing and I always thought I was going to have to lose it permanently, but luckily in about novemerish of 2018 I noticed a healthly nail starting to grow again and this time it stuck around and now I have a healthly nail and only have a little dead one at the end that in a couple weeks will be fully grown out :) Just wanted to share and great video!

I could cry...I have been needing a solution for my big toe nails for YEARS! I have never ever heard of this technique. If suggested to my personal nail tech, do you think they would do this for me? They have been applying acrylics onto my thickened big toe nails to camouflage them. Until recently I knocked one partially off...and have been googling for solutions. I had both my big toe nails out. One has a tiny bit of nail that grows back so i cut down a gel nail and use UV glue or solid nail glue ..it stays on quite a long time, but the other one has no nail and doesnt matter what ive done or used it will fall off because the natual oils and all. Yours look good though.

I want to say this ... it will hurt as they heal . Is it permanent ? ... as in will they ever grow back ? If not ... once they heal , start either gluing nail tips on shaped as a toenails or doing the dual forms . Because you do not want your nail bed to shrivel up ( shrink ) or you will never be able to use artificial nails in them . Remember tho , there is always a risk you could be allergic to the nail enhancement products . Good luck and let me know how you get along .

I have no toenails on my big toes just like yours. I have watched several of your videos and purchased the products to make my own toenails. I followed the video as I made my toenails. The new nails only lasted less than 24 hours so I had to keep gluing them down while on vacation multiple times per day. Any suggestions on what I may have done wrong? i had a go at using dual forms on my big toe nails for the first time and was most impressed , they lasted 3 weeks , normally i build them up free hand but i never get that professional or real look , i also use them on my finger nails but they don't last as long , i keep them short but with washing my hands and my natural oils in my beds they only last 5 to 7 days , im always looking for stronger gels , they don't crack , they just peel up ,

Im so glad I found this bc I have toenails but they don’t grow and they’re ugly and I just hate my big toes so I always use the glue on toe nails but they’re not as cute imo. Can’t wait to try this

I never thought of using dual forms for my toes. I had fungus on BOTH my big toes almost a year ago, and got rid of the fungus by filing the infected nail off and treating what was left. The fungus went away but I was left with almost no toenails, and my big toes grow so slow! I’ve got most of my toenails back now but I’ve been using acrylic to make them look “normal” for ages, definitely going to try the dual forms instead of freehand sculpting!
