I’ve been experimenting with my aunt she don’t have any toenail due to health problem and she won’t swim or anything out of fear of someone seeing so I took inspiration from your videos and I do agree the acrylic has worked way better for her and after I add some of your natural gel mix in top of the acrylic they look so real it’s shocking honestly. But she did want me to thank you for making these videos she said this is the first summer in 12 years she has wore open toe shoes in public

You gave her back her JOY! I get it! I'm one of those folks walking around still with a medical mask. I can't afford to fix my teeth, so I wear the mask so i can smile and laugh in public, just not restaurants. My joy was gone due to embarrassment. So I know that when I was able to put on the mask and be normal otherwise in public, I felt so good! Tell her we all have our insecurities, but I've NEVER judged ANYBODY with toenail bed issues. If wearing false nails gives her back her life, though, then by all means, wear them! What she MIGHT could even do is, once you've got the acrylics on her, she can buy these variety packs of press on toenails to go with her various outfits. What fun she could have day after day. She might even find herself wanting to go out more to show off! 😍

Im literally a ghost on KZbin and never comment but now I have a reason to. I’m 18 and I have had toenail fungus (my two big toes only) all my life basically. (I have no idea how) I have always been insecure with my feet and felt ugly and disgusting comparing myself to the rest in my family and friends who were able to wear open toed shoes or just casually go to the beach and not feel insecure with their feet. I have hidden my feet wearing socks 24/7 due to embarrassment. I have looked for many solutions and there has been no effective one I have even gotten them clipped off twice and used the prescribed ointment and such and my nails grew back the same . I recently came across a toenail removal video and it looked very painful and i’m afraid on how the recovery would be like . It’s in the back of my head everyday ever since and I’ve been considering it but I’m also worried about the price. Of course I thought to myself well I’m not going to have any nails I’m never going to have any nails and I’ve heard it’s dangerous to get them done at a salon while having toenail fungus now imagine without a nail. But then I came across your channel and this playlist and can I just say I cried of joy. I am extremely grateful for your videos and the fact that you are not embarrassed to show your toeless feet showing that not everyone has perfect toenails and it’s okay and there’s solutions and the fact that you have tried various ways to create fake toenails is great! I now have hope and I might save up or find out how it can be possible to remove my toenails and accept my toenailess self in the future and follow your technique. I have no idea if you’ll respond or read this but if you do i have to say , I am extremely grateful for your channel and I hope you continue to upload many more videos as I am here to stay subscribed permanently and support your channel! Thank you so much !! Ps. You did an amazing job in this video and your other videos you are very talented !

Awesome ! You know what you can use twice a day and see how it works for your fungus is Vic’s vapor rub . File your nails down thinner and put it on . Continue to put it on morning and night . It takes a long time but you will see change . Every so often file all the nails .

I have nail fungus also and went to the foot doctor. They have something called keriflex they use to build a toenail but it's $85 for one toe and mine only lasted 3 weeks then fell off! It's supposed to last 6 weeks. I am excited too to try the acrylics myself, I hope I can do it!
@jessicalacosse59983 жыл бұрын
I've had both toenails removed and had a horrible experience BUT it sounds like that was because of the specific dr. They can do it so nails don't grow back at all or so they do and then they are supposed to watch them and make sure they come in normally. Mine were supposed to come back and didn't and it is so difficult to find ways to make it look normal. During every day wear I simply paint my toe but for special occasions will do something like she did above. Mine were removed for ingrown toenails. If you have any insurance it should cover it. And make sure to research a podiatrist for reviews on toe nail removal or ask them for referrals for that specific procedure.

Question: I wanted to try the Dual form but I would like to know what liquid do you use to wet the dual form or acrylic if I decided to use acrylic? Sorry new to this.
@magdapretorius64955 жыл бұрын
You can use slip solution or monomer
@Denisejohn65NailEd5 жыл бұрын
These are actually acrylic ( powder and liquid ) When working with acrylic , it’s in a powder form and in order for it to get to the plastic state , it’s needs to do a chemical process called Polymerization. That is when the powder and the liquid monomer mix together they have a chemical reaction and it starts to form a plastic.Therefore you have to use monomer that’s what we call liquid and powder , liquid is the monomer. You cannot use slip solution to create acrylic nails it has to be monomer. If you did all you would have was a wet gloppy mess of powder.The only time that is it is suggested you use slip solution and monomer is on poly gel nails. But with polygel, you do not , do not and should not use monomer. You should only use a slip solution that you can buy or you can use isopropyl alcohol which is plain old rubbing alcohol available in all stores for like $2.50 for a large bottle. When poly gel was created it was created to be a odorless system. One of the reasons poly gel was created was so that people could have an odorless system for doing nails.When you use monomer you are defeating the purpose of an odorless system. You are breaking out the stinky odor and it’s not needed.Not to mention the fact that monomer is very expensive. And should not be used as a slip at all because of its cost and it does absolutely nothing for poly gel but smooth it down in place . You can do that with just cheap isopropyl alcohol or a slip that you can buy which is very cheap as well .
