As the title suggests, I have gone full comando on this cake without any cake tools! I don't think I am using that phrase correctly, but lets just pretend it makes total sense. all you need to recreate this cake is a teaspoon, a knife, and your kids ruler or a triangle ruler. That's it. Not even a cake board! Just grab your flattest dinner plate or serving tray, and lets get caking :)
This was inspired by the fact that most people are at home, some are looking to pick up a new hobby, but they may not be able to hit the shops for supplies. If this is you, I am here to show you there is no need to leave your house or spend the big bucks for supplies. At least not just yet ;) I hope this video was useful! Make sure you wash your ruler before you use it on the cake, if you have one at your house. I love that spoon texture idea it looks fancy it's such a good idea. That cake came out great.
