Cappy as a mid range item would be insane. Throw Cappy at someone, temporarily gain the ability to control them, while your kart would be AI controlled in the meantime. Turn them around and drive backwards for 10 seconds, drive off the map over and over again, etc.

I remember going to Best Buy after school 10 years ago and buying the original game. Me and my friend played it the same day, and I loved it. My friend expected a lot from it, considering he played a lot of Mario Kart Wii (he tried to do a wheelie on our very first race and didn't get too far with that lmao). Since the first day of the original, I've been hooked on the entire series.

It's still surprising to me how popular Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is after 10 years. People old and new are still buying this game to this day and enjoying it. So I don't think Nintendo plans on making another Mario Kart due to this game still being so popular and raking in the money.

I started right before wave 4 and that release was huge for me. I was also away for wave 5’s release and I was thinking about what it would be like beyond Squeaky Clean Sprint and everything was just great! These are my best memories.

I absolutely love Mario Kart and I had this on day of release on the Wii U. I stopped playing it so much after the new DLC though, the inconsistency in the quality when compared to the original tracks just really bothered me.

It’s kinda crazy that, despite being 10 years old, it has aged pretty well. If Mk9 will come out, I definitely hope to see more old and obscure characters, and less Filler characters(like babies and basically skins) I would like to see some characters from other spin-offs like Wario world, like Captian syrup, she hasn’t been seen for 16 years, and she deserves to be finally be in a Mario game

I love the Mario Kart series. I think every one of those games was unique and fun. There is really no bad Mario Kart. My favorite one's being Wii and Double Dash. Hopefully, those will come to the Switch or their next system.

Mario Kart 8 was awesome. The second Mario Kart game I played in 2018 on my Switch. I Never owned a Wii U so I got to try Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The first Mario Kart I played was Mario Kart 7 on the 3ds back in 2015.

It's really hard to believe Mario Kart 8 is a freaking 10 YEARS old game today! I still remember it like a yesterday when I've got the Wii U back in the Good old Days in 2014 a 10 years ago and Mario Kart 8 was one of my first games for Wii U so I have really good memories with Mario Kart 8 since the Wii U Era and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe over a 6 years, these are things why sometimes I feel old even as only a 21 years age. 10 years of Mario Kart 8 is a reason there's coming the New Mario Kart game soon and there is because in Mar10 Day 2024 Lego Nintendo Super Mario Direct there was the most Shorted TEASER ever about of Mario Kart game what's coming in next year 2025 and hopefully it's Mario Kart 9 for the Next Nintendo Switch Console. I hope to see characters from Nintendo's other game franchises like Kirby, Star Fox and Metroid. Can't wait i'm so excited for Mario Kart 9 in 2025. There’s a second item slot, 2 extra items (boo always and feather in battle only), an actual battle mode, extra characters and kart parts, and stat rebalancing. And before the BCP, there were no added tracks. But they are largely the same game, DX without the BCP is basically a very enhanced version of original 8.
