Keep it up. 2) I think this video does a great job of showing how well a completely stock Rubicon can handle those conditions. Kinda shows that it would only take a few modifications to make the Wrangler Rubicon even better than it already is. 3) Did it take 10 hours because the conditions are that tough? Or was it more because Jeep had to tone it down for all the vehicles and skill levels on the drive? If the latter, if you guys were on your own, how long do you think it would have taken to complete day 1?

In particular I always remember the episode where we spent more time learning Romans new drone, a mavick he hated rather than the car they were reviewing, and I thought that's what people really want, to come along for the ride. Wishing we were doing it. And getting to be there with them. Thanks FLD, I know Tommy and Ronan will appreciate this trip for everything it will offer. Hey guys, great stuff as always. Just a suggestion on something I've noticed in this as well as other videos where you discuss the features that make a Rubicon a Rubicon. Tommy is always quick to mention the lockers and front sway bar disconnect, which is great, but the 4:1 transfer case ratio is a big deal and unique to the Rubicon since day one. And don't forget the standard rocker protection which has also been a Rubicon staple since 2003.
@denisleblanc45066 жыл бұрын
Would have been nice with Roman in the 4 door and his son in the 2 door and see the difference between the two going over obstacles. It would have been so interesting. I find the 4 door too long and 2 door too short. Maybe something in between with 2 longer doors and a wheelbase between the two would be ideal. More room behind the second row and more manoeuvrable than the 4 door. I bet they would sell a lot of those if they made it.

A lot of people would probably talk crap if Toyota did something like that, but I seriously think we need to have something with better fuel efficiency. Coming from turbo 4cylinder cars, there are just so many advantages with boost that overcome the disadvantages. Things like fuel economy and even just cruise control being smoother due to no downshifting - it just lays into boost and keeps speed perfectly.

J name wait for the auto finance bubble to burst. Probably in 5-7 years, right about the time the "student loan" bubble bursts & the second housing crash happens.

Great video, and kudos to Jeep for allowing people to genuinely use and scratch up these Jeeps in this environment. Sure, it's marketing, but not many current 4x4s could tackle that terrain I'd imagine.

Stop comparing a Subaru to a Jeep . Of course the Subaru can't go there. Anyone with a half of brain would know that.

That was. a fascinating journey to watch. Eventually these Jeeps will grind the rocks down till the Rubicon Trail becomes a dirt road, I think.😊
