Hi, Olesya. I actually know nothing about Avatar, but am a fan of yours, so I watched. I’ll just say that I wish I had found a woman that was as excited by me as you were for this trailer. That guy around 6:10 is 99% Sozin and it's likely all happening during Air Nomads genocide. Also that very scene If I see correctly might be Sozin vs Gyatso which is just insane. Also 12:00 is Omashu and the other guy is Teo (disabled kid from northern air temple episode). I think it's one of their changes so we won't see northern air temple episode and have second huge battle besides the finale.

I mean they casted theo and his father so i think its safe the whole "working for the fire nation" thing will still be there it just wont happen at the air temple the plot point there is the only relevant part anyways. It happening in omashu might actually be a good change down the line when it gets taken over by the fire nation since they would already have an inside man there so to speak instead of the gaang just coming back like oh wtf did we miss.

A behind the scenes with the producers of the Netflix Avatar the last airbender show on youtube that I found by chance, as a result of the new trailer dropping, the day the new trailer dropped, revealed that in designing the costumes, the Netflix producer noted that the waves, ripples, swirling water, and patterns of water changing state are found on the clothing of waterbenders like Katara, while non-benders of the water tribe like Sokka have fixed geometries in the patterns of their water tribe clothing. The waves on Katara’s water tribe outfit indicate she is a waterbender. The Triangles / fixed geometry of Sokka’s water tribe outfit indicate he is a non-bender. According to some behind the sceenes each tribe has clothing that indicate bender or non-bender for water, earth and fire. (All airbenders are benders intrinsically). The producer said “…watch for it, even in earth kingdom, and fire nation outfits, benders and non-benders will be indicated by distinguishable clothing patterns connected to the appropriate bending element, or fixed static patterns (I.e. not all fire nation soldiers are firebenders) if one is paying attention.” The costume/clothing distinction is a new aspect/detail that the producers / costume designers added as an Easter Egg. It also helped distinguish on set bending actors/actresses from non-bending actors/actresses to assist in keeping the choreography and appropriate actions consistent for individual scenes.

5:20 that's most likely the southern air temple. 7:20 I don't think that's the fire nation capitol, the capitol is in the caldera of a dormant volcano, so there shouldn't be a river or body of water so close to the town. I could be very wrong about this tho. 8:30 most likely the southern air temple again. 12:05 I think that is Theo flying with Aang, the kid in the wheelchair that was living at the northern air temple in the original series. I don't know what he is doing in Omashu but they might have moved his whole storyline into Omashu instead of the northern air temple. There was also an explosion with green flames earlier in the trailer that looked like it was in Omashu. That fact that it was green makes me think the mechanist caused it.

So, I think Teo and the Mechanist were moved from the Northern Air Temple to Omashu for this series. So that's why the green glider is going around, there over Omashu. It's Teo

I think the tunnel shot of Aang hugging Katara and Sokka is the one where they get sick and Aang has to find medicine. But will they have the frozen frogs? Or is that too wierd to translate into live action?

I don’t think so, for me it’s more likely this is a scene from the Hei Bai’s episode because both get capture by it and at the end Aang released them. But who know 🤷🏻‍♂️

​@@gerardocave7196 That's possible. My main reason for thinking it's one over the other is that Sokka and Katara look sick, especially Katara. When the people including Sokka were returned by Hei Bai, he wasn't sick he just really had to pee 🤣 but maybe that's another small change. Although i think S&K were alone when they were sick, so that would be different too if thats it. Either way I'm excited!
