Simple Usain bolt went 6.31 in his 9.58 race. Considering Lyles second half is stronger than his first if he comes through at 6.43 he can probably run 9.69. With any other runner the time might be 9.72.

Doesn’t matter what he says, the facts are 1. He’s nowhere near 9:58! 2. He’s not even in the all-time top 10! 3. He’s been beaten soundly and his 3rd fastest this year and yes I’m counting the altitude time! 4. At least 4 current runners have better PBs! 5. He doesn’t have a WR or an Olympic solo gold and 1 won’t cut it either! Nobody is raining praises on Asafa who has 98 sub 10s! Perspective people, liking someone doesn’t mean they are better than they are! He mediocre in the 1 and great in the 2, case closed!

@@sman458 well clearly this Olympic athlete is a man and painted his finger nails. So your little hypothesis there didn’t really hold true, did it. The irony is from a biological standpoint, this guy is probably objectively far more masculine than you (higher T, more muscles, etc.). Him painting his nails doesn’t change that, lol. lol how about you get to the Olympics and you can show everyone how “adult” you are. I don’t think you even grasp that the next generation watching track for the first time will actually really enjoy him slinging blue eyes and Exodia. The only people who have your mentality are older generations that don’t really matter to a fandom because you’re on the way out. Your generation is the least important to an ongoing support of the sport, bud. Just know that. Every sport has its gatekeepers like you. No one cares if you’re butt hurt by someone liking something you don’t like.
