There was a covering over the upper deck and the window was facing upward like the blowhole in a whale. Which acted to bring fresh air into the ark. Noah didn’t bring the animals onto the ark. They came to him on their own. They walked up the gang plank and settled in the stalls that Noah had made for them and waited.
