Imam `Ali was rigth in that no one should be justified based on who they knew or what family they were in. Shia, Sunni, and sects before and after them should unite upon the direct revelation to Muhammad ibn `Abdullah and his inspired deeds. It is not a coup to force those who didn't vote a certain way to pledge allegiance nor it is such to have attacks on political dissenters, but it certainly wasn't Islamically sound. These things are bad enough and neither side needs to exaggerate. We need to beware looking to power as justification. We only need to see that only leaders claiming to be Muslim have been so detailed in suppressing Islamic teaching and practice.

Im not a sunnie, i also wouldnt call myself a shia either, im a Muslim and follower of Muhammad saw. Nor do i have any sect, all im asking is if you are gonna make a video please also show and explain how authentic the hadiths are otherwise people will blindly follow and accept whatever you say. There are many muslims who dont even know what hadiths are but go on the streets and shout Allahu akbar, in the beginning of the video it says the intention is not cause a sectarian fight but also shows videos of muslims fighting each other.

Sahih al-Bukhari 3714, Sahih al-Bukhari 3767, Sahih Muslim 2449b "Fatima, the daughter of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) got angry and stopped speaking to Abu Bakr, and continued assuming that attitude till she died." Sahih al-Bukhari 3092, 3093 "Surely the ones who hurt Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in the present (life) and the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a degrading torment." (Quran 33:57)

strong chains of narrators for it, out of these one of them is the one narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in al-Musannaf with an authentic (Saheeh) chain of narrators. al-Musannaf by Ibn abi shayba, Vol. 7, Pg. 432. Hadith. 37045 "When Abu Bakr received the pledges of allegiance after the Messenger of Allah, Ali and al-Zubayr used to enter the presence of Fatima the daughter of the Messenger of Allah and consult with her and hesitate in their allegiance. When news of this reached Umar ibn al-Khattab, he came out until he entered Fatima’s house and said: *“ O’ Daughter of the Messenger of Allah, none in all creation was more dearly beloved to me than your father, and none is more beloved to us after him than you. However, by Allah, this shall not prevent me, if that group gathers in your house, to order the house to be burned while you are inside the house!”* When Umar went out, they came and she said: “Do you know that `Umar came to me and swore by Allah that if you were to come back, he shall surely burn the house with you inside! By Allah, he shall certainly fulfill what he swore, so go away in peace, flee from your opinion, and do not come back to see me.” They left her and did not return to see her until they pledged their allegiance to Abu Bakr."

I am a Shia here but without bias. The video does not mention how Maula Ali behaved after this event if at all it occurred (I mean the actual murder). Something of this sort happening with the daughter of the Prophet and my Maula staying silent is something inconceivable for me. Right to Caliphate is one thing but the murder of the Prophet's daughter and his wife is something else! I am inclined to follow Ayatullah Sayyid Fadlallah's view here. Please convince me if y'all can. No mention of anything of thia sort from Maula Ali in Nahjul Balagha too, although he did mention about his right to the Caliphate.

nahjul balagha sermon 3, Maula talks about how the usurpers put a rope around his head and forced him to accept the caliphate of Abu Bakr(la). Rasul Allah(saws) told Imam Ali(as) to remain patient after his death, as there would be excruciating trials that would come. Imam Ali(as) knew that if he was to use his sword and kill these munafiqeen that it would cause waves of damage to Islam. So he remained patient, and silent for it was the best thing to do, even though it hurt him a lot. This is a quote from sermon 3 'I found that endurance thereon was wiser. So I adopted patience although there was pricking in the eye and suffocation (of mortification) in the throat'

You must realise that the patience of the Imams(as) cannot compare to any normal human being, theres a reason their station is so special and unique. Imam Musa Kazim(as), while inside a prison where he couldn't even see his own hand clearly because of the darkness, and couldn't stand, was thankful to Allah for giving him all this time where he could pray to him. We cannot compare our emotions to theirs, for they are the best of humans and are infallible.

Yes he must have meant about his right to the Caliphate that these people usurped. But that in no way means that he was treated that way. That's an insult to even Maula Ali. Nowhere in the Khutba did he mention verbatim that something of that sort took place. Also, here I am talking about Bibi Fatima's murder that was never ever referred to or narrated by any of our Imams.

But don't tell me that the Shia history is completely devoid of distortion of the ahadiths and history as is the Sunni history. Do you not for a moment think that there could have been a lot of distortion present in the Shia history as well when sometimes it seems that hating the first three is even more mandatory that the usul e deen as well. Also, when you see nothing of that sort from the Imams. It's highly un-Imam like when you put (la) after their names when none of our Imams have taught such a thing. I believe that the Shias have held on to the messenger and forgotten the message. People have become more ritualistic and have forgotten the essence of the religion. Just the form remains.

But the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) differed about this and there was a hue and cry. On that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to Umar ibn Khattab and the other companions around him, 'Go away (and leave me alone), only those members of my family stay for whom Zakat is forbidden. It is not right that you should quarrel in front of me." Ibn `Abbas came out saying, "It was most unfortunate (a great disaster) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise. Sahih al-Bukhari 114 In-book reference : Book 3, Hadith 56 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Vol. 1, Book 3, Hadith 114 You think Allah will forgive those who rejected Rasool Allah by saying we only need book of Allah? That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people."
