When I retired, I took a leap of faith and self-published some e-books on Amazon. I failed miserably. This experience created a fear of failure, which you have described in your video. I felt I was not only a terrible writer, but I made a fool of myself. Your video has helped me to understand that I was not prepared and I did not plan enough to get the job done. But as I reflect on your presentation, I realize that I wanted to be admired and at the center of attention, and because I didn't succeed, I felt I wasn't good enough. Besides, I wanted to be rich. All these thoughts did not and will not bring me happiness and peace. But I do want to write. However, I want to do it for the pleasure of it, not for money or fame. Thank you, Noah.

Absolutely love your teachings! Even though I suffer from anxiety and ruminations, I am also very analytical. And because I am analytical to a fault, your videos help me so much by breaking down things into common sense. This allows me to dissect my fears and make sense out of them. Your teachings by far are the best I have ever found to make progress in my recovery to feeling normal again.

I love the concept and have applied it to all the "insignificant superficial" fears successfully, but what about primal fears? Like: the fear of death or the fear you feel when you are having heart palpitations or an asthma attack or a diagnoses of terminal illness ect... I think a video on this matter would help a lot of people. Thank you for helping so many people.

Noah, I really appreciate your calm presentations and the logical stepping stone approach of them, how to link things together and that makes so much sense to me as you break things down. When you asked the question what do you really want and left a pause, I answered you as I watched it on my phone "peace" I said. Thank you for getting thoughts into bite sized pieces and for being so calm. You help a lot and I find you to be a steadying influence, allowing me to take that breath to slow things down and work through issues without it being over facing or overwhelming. Many thanks for this.x

Dear Noah, I'm writing this comment to let you know how much I appreciate and thank you for these videos. Carneigi says people have deep desire to feel important and the way you get this feeling of importantance defines who you are. Teaching us that, another person's opinion or action doesn't make you less or more valuable is a great thing to learn to be able solve our deep issues on our own. And I would like to thank you for showing me and others a way to achieve this feeling of importance within ourselves, rather than from things or people that we have no control over. I love you for that, whethet it means something for you or not. :D Take care, stay safe.

Yano Noah, ever since I discovered free will doesn't exist, I lost my judgement of others. Sometimes I judge but then I remember it's not their fault. However I cannot let go of judging my past actions. I don't allow myself to be around people. Too much shame. They would judge me as they do not operate as if people are not in control. I even have a thought, that you do not like me.

As I came across this video I have to say that this is so great!! I really am not the person to fear things at all, but when I was little looking back at my life really their was not that many things I was afraid of. However the things I was afraid of was things out of the norm. 2 major things I was super afraid of were Balloons and cuckoo clocks. The shapes of them for some weird reason and the popping. Beeings that I have no vission and blind I was afraid of that. Thinking that the balloon was going to chase me and hurt me. Like you said. Years and years later now as an adult it was the thought that provked it. O.K. Here is the other one that I was deathly afraid of. The cuckoo clock. Why in the world would I bee oh so fearful of a clock one would ask? Well, as a blind person I heard the weird and not normal noise. I was not afraid of any clocks I don’t think, but the cuckoo clock made me go into screaming and crying that i would wake up my family at night!! It was a very very unfimular sound and again, it was thought. The thought was that the bird was going to come out and jump on me and attack me and eat me. Where that whole time even though the clock made its cuckoo every hour nothing was happening to me the clock was on the wall sounding. Theirfore, it was the thought. I had this thought that the cuckoo was going to jump out and come down to where I was sleeping and start pounding me and jump on me. Hahahahaha!!!!! Weird thought? Yes. Well, how did I overcome my fears of the cuckoo??? WEll, it was step by step. Until I got a little older. I kept hearing a little bit by little bit cuckoo clock sounds. And in fifth grade, a teacher had brought in a cuckoo clock. I don’t know how it happened, but she made the cuckkoo clock sound and I didn’t do anything. I was laughing. So over time I got rid of the fear. Plus, I think that it had to do with age as well, and my perseption of things. Then well, of course, I just got over that fear and as I heard cuckoo clock sounds, from different people’s clocks that they had, i didn’t seem to care, and just realized it was just a time peace that was chiming the hour with a different and unique sound. Now balloons well,,,,,,, i just had to take a step and bee around them more. Getting use to hearing people popping balloons and not bee so squeemish about it. Touching the balloons and blowing them up myself. Now that i am an adult I at night think about the things that I was afraid of and I look back at my little kid self and I say “wow!!!!!! And laugh about it.”” Can’t believe I was such afarid of those things. Now it seems kind of funny and I can laugh about the 2 things that really freaked me out. All in all though, I was really not afraid of that many things. Listening to things I was afraid of though when I was little now, it is just like every day sounds. Absolutely nothing to bee afraid of. Now, I am able to help others when they tell me they are afraid.... I actually am trying to help a girl that i went to school with and she lives a sheltered lifestyle with a family. She is deathly afraid of beeing independant. She is afraid of traveling alone and even just crossing the Street. She wants to bee independant but her fear is taking over her so bad that she says that she is not able to bee independant. Well, I live kind of far from her but I try and email her about this.
