As a guy who's toured with a few bands, I could totally envision this as a "Rest and Relaxation" stop on a tour, which is hard work. 2 or 3 days of downtime in a place like this would be extremely refreshing, far better than sleeping on a bunk in the bus. Multiple beds, showers, kitchens, and room to spread out, go outside, in the middle of nowhere... nice. I envision the upstairs quarters for the headlining band, and downstairs for the opener, plus any crew. The rumors you heard just might be true from my perspective.

This is a very representative large house from the seventies. Everything is at the right place, the fireplaces, the cupboards. I really like the land. As the house is well- preserved, I hope that someone will buy it and give it a second chance.

Great find Noah! That place was well built - loved all the big windows. The basement had a weird layout, but very usable. I could live there with some updates to bring it into the modern era. Pink marble fireplace would totally stay that's a keeper! Loved the outside with the columns. Tearing it down is such a waste, it has good bones.

Yeah that was an older one for sure but yeah I liked it. It was cool and definitely when you went into that pink bedroom in the basement that's called sponge painting and that's all it is😂😂 I couldn't help but chuckle on that one. But thank you again. Has anyone ever said that a tendency with rich abandoned mansions is that children who have painful memories linked to the misery of their childhood always seem to let their parents' house simply wear itself out to death as a means of healing and all the bad memories die with the house and the parents and unfortunately so many things that seem so valuable and would be passed on are protected to simply turn into a useless mystery. Sorry.

Awesome house! if the rumor is true, imagine al the wild parties, and Shagging that went on there...😀😛👍 if I could buy this house, I would not update it, but Down date it. and try to put it back to how I figure it looked back in the 70's. but vintage wall papers, flooring and shag carpeting are so hard to find, and expensive. even the reproduction stuff... would be awesome to find photos of how each room looked back then. it would make it easier to reproduce its original design. kind of like how they redid the Brady Bunch house, to look like the inside of the actual Set.

I read some comments. A lot of people seem to like this house, but I just don't see it. I'm not rich by any means, but I've worked in all sorts of construction scenarios, and this house looks like it was thrown together quite quickly and cheaply. The colour combinations of things like the floor and stairs in the foyer and the counter and floor in the bathroom.... very... tasteless. lol. The proportions of everything are outright odd and not balanced. You can see the black screws fastening the white "shutters" on the brick outside from 50 feet away... the list just on and on. The idea that rockstars stayed here baffles me. I don't mean offense when saying this, but I'd be much more entertained by a video in which you just go through the weird choices the designers made. lol. Cool property though, at any rate.

I don't disagree with you that the design and construction is lackluster, but I *could* imagine a smaller record label building such a place to serve as R&R for touring bands. Better than a hotel room (or especially the bunk on the tour bus). As long as it has beds, showers, kitchens, room to spread out, it wouldn't have to be fancy to be a place to take a break from extended touring. Just my theory...
