Thanks Nobby, a much anticipated review from an Irish perspective on this car. I've been waiting for this to see what you thought of it, after moving from a Legacy tourer diesel to a Honda CRV AWD due to the Boxer diesel crankshaft issue, this one os now on my shortlist for the next car. The fuel consumption is a little high and will struggle to compete with the Rav 4 hybrid but as you say, Subaru is not for the masses and its always nice having a car that not too many people on the road have which is definite when you own a Subaru

I had the exact same problem with my 09 diesel Legacy Tom, crankshaft failure.

Subaru Style doesn't say much But when I drive it Says alot about the performance and the Handling are very close to the Luxury cars. It's very affordable to own One 😀👍💟

Why do the Japanese manufactures use CVT gearboxes? They make the car sound awful! This sounds pretty quiet until you accelerate! Can you switch off the beeps things? That is what most people do! :-)

Some are more refined than others but yes, I wouldn't be the biggest fan of the power delivery (acceleration anyway)!

Too much chrome on the outside. Bring back the colour coded door handles and remove the chrome from around the windows, it doesn't need it.

There is dual exhaust XT version with 2.0 turbocharge petrol/gasoline boxer under hood😉👍
