God... This almost made me cry. She looks so desperate to justify the murder, to make others understand, and at the same times seems to be telling us the entire truth even though it is hurtful. When the song ended she looked as if she was landing from another world. I had never seen an artist performing with so much emotion and this is why I love Aurora so much and really hope she gets more recognition with time.

You know, I don't understand it that way. I think it's a love song because the girl in the story singing the song loves the guy so much that she truly believes he did it for her sake. There are very few circumstances where killing someone is protecting them in my opinion. It doesn't seem to be the case in the song. The guy is completely messed up. Maybe he does love the girl and thinks he's protecting her, but he's dangerous. Yet, the girl loves him and understands that in his understanding he isn't hurting her, even though she's very scared of the gun and probably doesn't want to die. She sounds completely disturbed.

That was the first time she performed in front of so many people, she was quite nervous. I think that is why this performance of this song stands above the rest, because she dove deeply into her minds eye while singing this and the emotions flowed. I love how people are so still and silent when she sings and are even hesitant to disturb the peace with applause. She really does transfix people, just one of the many things that makes her her.

Years ago I dated a girl who was a clown. She did birthday parties and whatever. She loved what she did. One day I asked her what type of clowns she was, and she spun around, looked at the sky and said "I'm a storyteller." Well one day I was in the library and they were having a book fair or something and I went into this little room and there was a lady in there telling stories to a bunch of kids. She was wearing like a Mother Hubbard costume or something and telling stories to these kids and the kids were kind of squirmy, not really paying attention. And even I noticed that I wasn't able to follow her, I wasn't really connecting with her, she wasn't connecting. So I went back and talked to my girlfriend about that later and she said "oh, she didn't invite you in". Now, I'd never heard that expression before but I knew that she didn't mean she didn't invite me into the room, she meant she didn't invite me into the story. Aurora not only invites you in, she's taken the door off the hinges and torn down the Walls! Sorry for such a long post but I think it's a good story. sorry if I didn't invite you in at the beginning. LOL

This song was used during the end titles in a documentary about the murder of a13 year old girl , Yara Gambirasio, here in Italy. How they found the murderer was quite allot of work using the DNA found on the crime scene that didn't directly lead to the killer as they had no one in the data bank with that profile. It was actually linked to a dead man whose son was a perfect match. He showed no remorse or feelings for what he did.

I mean, she's singing a song about murdering someone at the Nobel Peace Prize, but it's not only about murdering someone, it's about how someone can be able to find peace in death. The song talks about someone who's in pain while alive and wanna find peace in diyng. Euthanasia...

I can't stop staring into her beautiful and mystical eyes. the way she made her hands motion is very unique. like she's expressing her feeling about the meaning of the song. it's fascinating!!
@apizlmbg14 жыл бұрын
for me its like as she's trying to contain herself, that she is desperately trying to convey the meaning, the justification of that murder, and she can barely hold it in, her desperation.

Aurora didn't even have to cry (as you see her eyes are teary), and it'll still be a beautiful song. I love her sm!! Aurora grew so much, no words can explain how proud we are of her 🥺💘.

Could you imagine being the cameraman that has to keep the camera to her eyes, watching every expression she makes. The goosebumps I get just listening to this performance would be magnified greatly if I were that cameraman.

I listened to this and I had an *awakening*, I felt like I was *under stars* *running with the wolves* being carefree like I could *conqueror* anything, I met a *little boy in the grass*, small as he was though strong as a *warrior* and for the first time ever I saw the world *through the eyes of a child*. I am now *half the world away* and I don't ever want to come back *home*. Fill free to *runaway* with me too. :)

i don't know how many years ago i found her, it seems like forever if i look back on it. she's so ethereal, as if she's mother nature herself, or from another planet. i can't explain it, but i'm sure many of you feel the same

One of the most amazing singers I've ever come across - Unfortunately I've only just discovered her amazing talent and story talent!! The lyrics to many of her songs are so dark, yet there is absolute beauty to the way the lyrics are conveyed!

There are certain songs you hear and they just hit you a in a way you can't really explain except for that it felt like something just shook right thru you to the core. I cried like a little baby listen to this. (so glad I stumbled across this artist.)
