Vectors are so much easier for lineart than doing it traditionally, of course this varies from person to person but personally it's an insane workaround
@AdamEarleArtist5 жыл бұрын
Hey matey if your computer is slowing down because of the vectors you can copy paste vectors into raster layers I will give you faster playback and your machine won't chug. Also, make sure that your graphics card is being used. You will probably have to enable it manually. Love your work mate can't wait to see the next version.
@atoaster20704 жыл бұрын
How do you enable the graphics card? I can't find it anywhere in Preferences.

yours looks so amazing!! I really have struggled with the vector art tools in opentoonz. I wish we could upload levels from inkscape where it is much easier to make vector art. Also it is much more exact so you could do logo animations easily and use the inbetweening easily. As it is, I don't think could ever use it.

It will take me awhile to get used to vector lineart...I am stubborn with and had bad cases using it in other animation programs but hey I think Opentoonz and lil practice will get me far.

That looks nice! Do most animation studios use vectors for their final line art?

rad work dude but how did you draw through the paper with raster levels, I thought only vectors could do that

Dear Noble, Whenever I preview my animation, my vectors disappear. Why does this happen? And how can I fix it? I would hate to lose my lines :P

Quick question...For the pencil sketch what level do u use??? Cuz every time im trying to do draw something on opentoonz the outline is just comes weird...
@vijayaseshadrinathan74744 жыл бұрын
I'd suggest a raster level (or) a better idea would be to draw on paper or in a software meant for raster art (like krita) and importing it to opentoonz for doing the vector art

There is no pressure sensitivity in brush tool when I draw on vector layer.
@ordinarytree46784 жыл бұрын
In basic view you should be able to change the max and min pressure sizes on the top. Theres not opacity pressure tho

Might be a bit of a stupid question, but my vector lines keep over correcting to the point where anything I draw gets turned into some weird smooth shape by vector. I can see that's not happening to you. Any idea on how to fix this?

@@NobleFrugal Thank you! I have another question, can you add audio to your animations on OpenToonz? That's important for me since I do a lot of lip-syncing
@hansbrackhaus80175 жыл бұрын
I really, really do not like freehand vector drawing in OT. I think only synfig is worse for that. I mean it's alright for 'mechanical' stuff like circles and so forth, but drawing? In multiple strokes (yet on one level because it's all one drawing)? And filling areas? Hot diggity damn was that ever annoying just now. I think I'll forever be a raster user in OT...
@HeitorQuartzo3DMaia5 жыл бұрын
Why you did not use lines, circles and elipses do draw more perfect instead to repeat the same drawing until get the shape do you want?
