Just a reminder that watching reruns helps Brad and his fam generate income during his convalescence. Watch em and share em lots so we can get back to the hunt! ❤️👍🏼🇺🇸

As big of a following he has i think given his situation a GoFund me collection is in order. I know Brad would be too proud to accept something like this...but it is what it is! I'm willing to help...and it bet others are too!! Thoughts everyone?

@@CincinnatidiggerI think that's an excellent idea. Does anyone know how to reach Eddie or Chris? Maybe they can be involved in getting it set up?

While this is a rerun, it's one that I had never seen before so I'm loving it and living it with you as if it just happened this fall. I love seeing the posse of buddies together, spending a healthy day out in the woods, sharing something they enjoy...magical!

Hi Brad, I definitely remember this one because of Eddie's find. I consider this to be a classic. A suggestion, all of us, especially you wish their was new videos, but that's not possible right now. I can think of several other videos that I consider classics; when you and Mike explored the cavern, when you and Mike found the 7 or 8 coppers, and the episode with the beaver. Perhaps for this winter you could show a "classic" every other week. You could even have a poll the week before where subscribers could vote between a few choices. At any rate, get well soon.

I had just seen this particular video for the first time, but it still is a classic to me. Maybe I don't know right but it seems to me that Eddie may be the least experienced metal detectorist of you 3 so I think it is great that he made such a find! A museum piece! And on Memorial Day! Prayers for you Brad!

Hello from Northern California, I found your channel at the beginning of Covid19 lockdowns. I am keeping you in my prayers for a good recovery.. I am glad that you didn't just suspend your channel during this time because I am able to see videos that are new to me. P.s - by California standards, Eddie is one cool guy. 😊 You take care of yourself and get well soon.

Eddie always makes me smile!! I always remember that hammy acting from your feature treasure films. 🎥 🍿 I love those still shots of the forest and forest floor - nature in that region (I’m an old foothils of NY lady) is more ‘alive’ than anywhere else I’ve ever been. You capture that in your photography! 💚⛰️ Thanks Brad, Chris, and Eddie for a cool adventure in those beautiful Vermont hills! And Brad, I pray you continue to feel better. ❤️🩹

Hey Brad. This was a good one that I don’t think I ever saw. I’ve been sub’d since you were writing the music for your channel. I heard you say YT was not notifying on some of your podcasts. I’m pretty sure wasn’t on this one. Any way. You take care of you, Bud. I hope they figure out what the deal is quickly and there’s a treatment for it. As Dad always said, “You’ll probably feel a lot better once you heal up and hair over.” Heh heh. Just one of his many Old Sayings. Get well. I mean it man. I wanna see ya back out in the mountains and fields. I can’t do it anymore so I love watching your videos. Peace.
Morning Brad, Did you ever find out more about Eddie's buckle? Nice find.

Just a wild guess but the little axe could have come off of something like a coo coo clock. They often have pine cones and antlers and woodsy decorations but I don’t know how far back they go.

I ran across porcupine in early spring one year so I cut up some apple and tossed piece after piece he was so out of it thought it was raining apple slices he finally saw me after 20min and waddled as fast as he could away it was hilarious they are out of it when they first wake up
