I did this. Because of the choice I made to do it along with the Robin Hood achievement and because I like to puppet in peace conferences and take resource rights it took hours and hours to slowly build up the PP to annex all my puppets. I kept going AFK for half an hour to come back and annex a few more. It was pure pain. But I managed it

12:48 actually I think with this bug (pls stay a feature) you can get highest number of traits on leader (there's a guide somewhere) with putting and the annexing and releasing Russia back. Personaly I think it's a feature and it should stay in game

The South American achievements are so absolutely unfun, dull or miserable to do that I gave up from maintaining HoI4 at 100% , it's just not worth it (yea i was one of the 6 idiots that actually kept doing all the achievements all these years for hoi4 as more got added) Playing SA is just so damn unfun and dull for me, that it was finally the thing that broke me from wanting to keep my HoI4 at 100% achievos.

​@@pitnorman A fair bit of the achievos for SA are things that require basically WCs, they're not really that super duper hard to pull off when you know how to mess with the HOI AI and WCs are the easiest to do in HOI4 when compared to EU4,CK2/3,Vicky2/3 , but it's just a slog, it's not really fun, it's just pain looking at SA achievements and seeing "Yup, gotta basically do either full on WCs or almost full on WCs for a fair share of these" Past updates had some stinkers too regarding achievements but i guess what helped there it was usually regions I had a vested interest in. Like i genuinely had a mostly good time doing all of the Scandinavian ones, especially Finland in last year's DLC but here in the SA region it's not fun fighting in it for me, often the go to strat is to do a naval invasion to avoid having to deal with the nightmarish terrain in SA.

SA is literally the most fun continent, you're isolated from the world and far away from every major, the terrain is easy to defend but also fun to manage, if you have problem moving divisions then just press b so they lose organization but instead of moving like 11 days to another province they do it in 1, i had one game playing as major socialist chile making revolutions in several SA countries while ussr capitulated and i managed to push the axis divisions to the ecuador (except the city of lima) where i had to end since it was almost 1945 and my pc wasnt ready for the 6-8 seconds =1day in hoi4

4:51 I think this is a bug where it checks for owned states to integrate. If you keep one state unintegrated like the Galapagos the buttons will always appear. Very useful if you want to actually get any land if you are at war with the allies.

Bit of advice, if you declare war on both sides of a war you keep all of your occupation after one peaces out, you're not forced to transfer it to the person who took it in the peace deal if you're at war with them. One exception to that is if they liberate (not puppet) countries which was incredibly painful in my run of this.

Also if you release Sapmi or Kurdistan and play as them after a world conquest you'll get that achievement too

I got the achievement. The game lasted till like 2023 and involved a 10yr long nuclear strat bombing campaign on most of the western worlds airbases. It took regular nuclear attacks to push the front lines once landfall was made. Ended up with like 120m enemy casualties at the end of the war. 1st and last time I ever want to do a world conquest in hoi4
