I have not followed the nfl for a while now but I remember when the division was horrible and now it has flipped and it is one of the toughest divisions. I used to be a Detroit fan but I have followed JJ Mccarthy from Michigan and now I am a Minnesota viking fan. Looking forward to see what this team can do.

I believe the defense improved, but the main things the defense needs is DT and CB mainly. Offense QB is the obvious ? but the running game as well. Nothing against Jones or Chandler, but my worries it the play calling for the running game. I also believe they can be where they were last year having a chance at the end... Not saying they will make the playoffs, but I think they'll be in position to where the last few games will determine if they make it or not

I think a lot of people underestimate Darnold. I think he'll be good. I also think that defense will be rocking. Corners can be a weak spot, but I think Flores will scheme his schemes and keep offenses off balance. 10-7 or 9-8 is my prediction.

Vikes 13-4, just like 2022 when they last had a QB for the full season. I doubt McCarthy plays much, if at all, this season. Darnold really made progress at the Panthers, and looked very efficient operating the 49ers offence. There is no reason why Darnold couldn't play better than Cousins - Darnold is a dangerous runner for a start. JJ is a longer term investment. This Vikes have completely reshaped their defence with players that Flores wanted for his scheme. Everyone recognises the Turner acquisition, but don't overlook the addition of lengthy outside CBs - Khyree Jackson and Dwight McGlothern - their shorter CBs were exposed against long WRs like Tee Higgins, Keenan Allen, and Courtland Sutton last season.
