@@dinaivanova1516 There is no such one common and unifying Turk race. Everyone is of their separate ethnicities, languages, and histories. Look at how asiatic some turkic people are and it makes it evident from phenotype alone. I’ve stayed in this area when I visited my daughter who at that time was studying in Marmara University. I liked the place actually better than the European side. You can find everything here for your daily needs at a very reasonable price. Thank you David for showing this other side of Istanbul. You’re so kind to those who really are in need. May God bless you always. You’re from Azerbaijan but your English is so good. Azerbaijan is one of those I want to visit in the near future.

In the sixties I was completely in love with Istanbul. We were hippies staying in the Gulhane Oteli (disappeared) near the Blue Mosque. There were NO tourists! I walked back and forth on the old Galata Bridge, from Sultanahmed to Kadikoy and back. The old bridge was incredible, a chaos of busses, cars, vendors and pedestrians, crammed, barely moving, nobody cared, all the time in the world. Not much happening in Kadikoy back then, it looks really interesting now. Most beautiful are the paved streets and spaces, no cars. In 1966 all the cars were ancient and black, so were the buildings from the exhaust. They have all been cleaned. Thank you for this personal tour of a place you love so well, Davud. The Turkish people are so very wonderful and so are you. Thank You!

Merhaba! I had the opportunity to travel to Turkey on March 2022 and immediately fell in love with the country and its people. Traveling alone and not knowing anyone nor the language, I had no difficulty communicating since everyone was eager to help. Unfortunately I only stayed for 9 days. I visited Capadoccia, Ephesus and Pamukkale and stayed 4 days in Istanbul which is not enough time to visit all the beautiful places it has to offer the tourists. I would love to return next year.

So happy I found this video!! The host is very genuine, respectful, very cool mellow vibe, (very handsome- respectfully!) and shows obvious passion for Turkey! His English and Turkish language is fantastic! We also love Turkey, and love to mingle with locals and see Turkey in less touristic setting. Thank you for this great video from a low key perspective showcasing local life and hospitality. He even mentions the 🐈 which make the experience so much more pleasurable. Amazing Istanbul! Tesukurler!

One of my favourite video series of yours Davud. Everything is perfect organize in Istanbul. You said totally correct, if you have money, very "confi" life there. Transportation systems are very good standerd level. If you can film how to make famous turkish dishes include "baklava". BTW to whom will you give your "Red Rose" 🌹😊. Thank you for sharing such a nice and informative video with us. Im very excited to watch your next one Davud. Love as always from sri lanka 💖🥰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰

Marhaba Mr. Daud, Your travel videos were awesome. I have been to Turkiye four times. The last was 52:15 in 2018. At that time one cup of turkish coffee at restaurant cost 15tl, small cafe with four tables cost 10tl, at coffee grinder in Spice Bazaar cost 8tl. So prices in Istanbul insanely skyrocketed as all over the world. Brother Daud, come and visit Malaysia to enjoy cheaper accomodation and food but of couse you need to apply tourist visa to enter Malaysia.

I’m here distracted by your eyes… how beautiful 🙏🏼. But yeah, I love Türkiye. I just got back home from my 2nd trip over there: this time I used my entire stay to explore Fethiye. I’m a Cuban fascinated by the country and it’s people ♥️. There’s this certain soul connection I’ve got with that country. And the turcos… beautiful men

Kadiköy is the oldest inhabited part of Istanbul. Originally a separate locality altogether. Originally called Khalkedon in Greek and was first inhabited 2600 years back much before Byzantion(Istanbul oldest part- Tokapi Saray area) was inhabited.
