Sometimes I worry about efforts to centralize Bitcoin either through mining or flooding Bitcoin node networks with thousands of AI bots. Then along comes Jack. So I learned from this talk - time and energy has to be invested to make this possible. Thank you Peter and Jack. I'm on the right track. I'm a slow learner - but I'm getting there.

The primary concern I have with ordinals is their effect on already high transaction fees. I feel like no one I addressing this. How can btc be the future of finance when it costs anywhere from $2-$200 to do a single transaction? I thought we we’re supposed to be better than the legacy system

Congrats on the conference, shame you didn't ask Jack whether one could be self sovereign without holding a UTXO though I suspect he would have 'hand waved' and ultimately dodged the question (though you certainly should push for an answer in private as I think you actually believe in a better money for everyone rich or poor, sadly a custodial BTC will be just a Bitcoin backed CBDC for the masses)

I don't mean to be cynical however my greatest fear is there will be many more thousands of podcasts for years to come of people talking about bitcoin but out in the real world very little change. So much talk, not much action. The real change is happening in places like Africa and South / Central America while in the rich Western world no real change, just talk. I hope change happens soon.

If bitcoin cash,(BCH) represented by Roger Ver, is so good, why don't they proceed along and mind their own business? If it is that great, and fills needs bitcoin does not, why dont they just forge ahead. I think they do have some good ideas and a great system. So I always wonder, "why all the confrontation, division, victomhood, and attacking ?" They spend lots of time and money attacking Bitcoin, (BTC). Their actions, including their Utube videos, show a constant attack, including revisionist history, and limited hangout falsehoods. They seem to be very, and unrealistically, well funded. Given the stakes involved are control over the world's money, I can't help but to be conspiratorial and suspicious when I see people act like Roger Ver. The best "business plans" are like bitcoin. They move along at their own volition, stick to their principals, and don't need to attack anything.
