Well petaly actually has 3 points of actually making sense. Point one, woody theory tells that the secret boss of ch 3 will be cowboy themed. Point 2 toriel throws away flowers if you give her them in ch 2. And the one that connects them both. Point 3, floweys catchphrase is howdy which is something a cowboy would say. And more undertale references in secret bosses is cool so just go with it

It goes to show that petaly thinks he’s the hero of his story but he also realizes that he can never win,so he fights on and sings regardless of his emotions,the lines that prove this is “I’m gonna win or at least I’m gonna try” And “I’m alone in the dark…” And when he says nobody’s watching he’s talking about how nobody’s watching his performance and even questions if he’s the hero or the villain. And it was to bad that we couldn’t hear the iconic line “In this world it’s die or become death!” Nobody came…..”
