I like the new one, coz all the wires are at the back. Unlike the old, the power source is plugged in the front so its not that neat to look at. The front is focused only for music sources only, so thats good!

don't get hung up on what power is written on the box, you can't get more power then what ohm's law gives you (P=V²/R), for a 12v powersupply and 4 ohm speakers that's 36W max but you take off 1/3 because of overheads and another 1/3 because you don't want to listen to distortion, so you get about 10 happy clean watts, and that's actually a lot.

Well, seems the one I bought is the 2017 model. It's spec described a 2x50W output, which I doubt only works on 24V DC, mine now using a 12V 5A DC (should max at 2x30W only, 24V DC is on the way, separate buy), which already sound loud enough for bookshelf speaker. This model also is said to have installed Texas Instruments' TPA3116 sound chip. Well, sound the best with USB output from laptop or PC. Bluetooth is not bad too, but only Bluetooth 3.0, which sound is more compressed, less fidelity. The 3.5mm AUX input also is a good option, probably is the loudest option when connected to laptop/PC, where can pre-amp to make it louder, and sound better than Bluetooth input. The treble and bass are depend on speaker, probably only tower speaker will properly crossover for separate high, mid and bass sound. Cheap bookshelf speaker normally only focus on treble and mid, and lack of bass, need a separate active or passive subwoofer to output bass.

no its 50watts but is 25x2 = 50 watts rms but its the black ones is 30watts in 15x2 = 30 watts rms

No it isn`t. Not mine anyway, the old one is 30+30, I tested it.. Check your voltage and amp draw. the output power is improved to 100W(50W*2) with the upgraded chip TPA3116.

??? The new one RED on this video doesn't have voice control. Just beep on. Also have power supply connector on rear side. Some pieces have 50Wx2 written on chassis, but you still get only 60W adapter (12V*5A).. so maximum power out in 100% efficiency is only 2x30W.

That is very confusing about the micro usb connector so many variations on this model but i thing the new one is used to connect a laptop for music in and not power as it no longer has a headphone jack. but nobody has shown this in reviews.

yes I agree with you! I have the same opinion.. it is difficult to say but the red one somehow sound better.. I think that the old model is not on sale anymore..

I have that newer one where she says "mote" instead of mode... Sounds good but I couldn't get the Bluetooth connected so used a cable. Maybe user error I don't know.

People have measured these, with the supplied power supply, and they are only 30W. Perhaps, more with a dedicated PSU of greater voltage. What I want to know is, are they any good?

hello,it's me again :) i bought same amplifier with same chip, only different brand, it works great as you show us in your videos. I got one problem, so maybe you can help me.. I try to connect Nobsound to speaker over standard audio red and black cinchs cable, but they don't fit the hole on Nobsound. So, is there an option to connect the speaker over the red and black cinchs cables and and which model of cinchs to use? Sorry if I am annoying :)

Dika Music hi.. no do nit try to connect chinch to the nobsound output!!! You can burn something.. this gold connectors on nobsound is output.. you connect on rhe speakers from them.. music signal input is via AUX or USB or Bluetooth.. there is no chinch connectors..

Different chipsets. The old one, from what I can tell, uses a TP3110 chipset, while the new one uses a TP31106 chipset.

24. But if you have 19.5V 4.62A, it will work very well. Dell have a lot of 19.5V adapters, and they are easy to find used and cheap. If you only drive small or easy to drive speakers with them, 12V 2A works very well. ;)
