As a Takeda player, Oda getting Kuroda Kanbei and Takenaka Hanbei just hurts so much. Their abilities are OP.

Solid list and very well explained too. I'd swap the Chosokabe with the Ryuzōji in 1546 or 1553 though. Mainly because the Chōsokabe has very high difficult curve, the moment you finished with the small neighbors, you're trapped between 3 very powerful clans: Ōtomo to the west, the Mōri to the north and the Miyoshi to the east, and may not be able to find a way out. The Ryuzōji has less talented personnel, but they are also surrounded by much weaker neighbors, and the moment you finish conquering those neighbors, you'd find yourself in a Three Kingdoms stand-off with the Ōtomo and the Shimazu, which can be solved with an alliance or two. Then after unifying Kyushu, you'd have yourself some of the best officers in the game.

Thanks yeah Chosokabes real trial starts once you have the island, they probably are intertangible with Ryuzoji depending on the player it might be better to be able to choose where to engage next than be in the 3 way stand off in Kyushu just depends

I think the nagao (uesugi) is strong too. Arguably more so than shimazu or chosokabe. Insane battle stats. Fantastic ability (confuse + enemy troops decrease). Playing as date I face difficulty against him. His army can singlehandedly chop down armies twice or thrice the size while being pincer (by confuse abuse and troops drop abuse). The ability combo make him arguably stronger than even the tank beast Oda himself. Only downside: you only have until 157-ish to consolidate and get ready. Because after that, he kicks the bucket

Yeah they only didn't Crack top 5 since I'm keeping new players in mind, Uesugi could be slightly more difficult to handle than say Takeda because of all the terrain and no real allies in any direction

@@archivegaming3014 I think they have a challenging end game after kenshin die. But early game they kinda don't need ally. Brain dead ai swept my stack, which is twice their size while they are being flanked. If normal ai can do that, beginner can two. And since i just entered into this series in this year, im one of the noobs, too 😂

​@@quanguctranngo7871yea agree, man is a god. In history, if he didn't kick the bucket that soon (and Shingen followed soon after), Nobunaga couldn't unify Japan (well technically he didn't but he set 99% up for Hideyoshi to grab)

I have finisht the game takeda yosinobu shingen son the new shogun 100 years of pece and yeah the game unlocks you a new scenario after you finish it is called the rival showdown and you have every major figure clan like mitsuhide, hideyoshi, nobunaga, iyeasu,shingen,otomo sorin, takigawa kazumasu,shibata katsuie,sanada masayuki and many more

@@archivegaming3014 i have finisht the nobunagas here scenario but yeah Something like that i have never finisht ROTK14 but im still playing wiht cao cao on the Dong zhuo coalition scenario and now i have started wiht toyotomi hideyoshi on that new scenario

Awesome video. I really appreciate your series in this terrific game. One question concerning the Oda: Isn't Hideyoshi already in in your force at the outset of the Okehazama scenario? He's there as Kinoshita, so he hasn't adopted the Hashiba yet. He's strong, lol.

I am playing as oda 1543 and in my 1570 year interestingly i have managed to finish of all the minor clans to the west of owari, saito are done and very few imagawa Castles remain in tokai region. What I observed is that using alliance to protect your rear is great tactic until dosan saito was alive i used him has my shield then when i defeated the saito formed an marriage alliance with takeda. Now i am thinking to do what yoshimoto did in real life forge alliance with takeda and hojo and go towards west with impunity and neutralise the miyoshi and mori😊. Hey archive gaming do you have any suggestions

I would go either go west as you said and try achieve nobunagas original expansion or start war in Kanto before someone else absorbs that side of the map. West is easier but east may take longer to take down if you wait till later because of the quality of officers you would face

Which one is better cavalry or muskets? With maxed out silver policy you get musket activation chance +80%

I'm not sure which is better they both have they're strengths what I prefer though is muskets it's just fun to fire a volley and melt a unit in a single strike 😁

@@archivegaming3014 But cavalry can do that too. You can smash the enemy by inflicting 5000 damage with the right conservator.

​@@archivegaming3014might agree. I find early cav level not very impactful and merely do any damage, while with musket, even with only lvl1 or 2, the more men you have, the more it hurts

this game is extremely easy. everyone plays their own way to have fun but I think events should only be on for beginner buffs and to see the story. Once you learn the ropes events are like cheats. With diplomacy any major clan is op as the ai can not compete with you and you can avoid powerful neighbors until you sneak attack them at your choosing. I would suggest playing on easy with events and an strong clan just to learn basics. once you learn basics to make the most of the game play on exhard or hard with a smaller clan. otherwise its an auto win any other way.

It's definitely not difficult but I wouldn't say it's extremely easy either it comes down to faction selection like most rts sandboxes. If you pick the top forces it's a cakewalk no matter what but there are factions in spots where it will be tough to eke out an existence like most games. Diplomacy is busted yeah and they are suppose to realize a patch next month to fix it but whether or not remains to he seen

@@archivegaming3014 the battle mechanic makes the game too easy, most AI are very bad and you can flank stronger enemies to gain victories. You can also lure in some troops and beat them in a battle, and the resulting conclusion will stop their other marches. There are many things in this game that are highly favored toward the player. Even smaller clans the game is easy, its not really a matter of if you will win but just being aware and patience until you do. There are a few clans notably the single castle low officer clans with long march times to neighbors that I haven't beaten on exhard or hard and I am interested to know if its even possible

Yeah there's alot of other lists to do anything officer related would have to be a top 10 considering how many heavy hitters there are in this game
