I have had one for a few years. I use it to maintain my summer car battery over winter. This has never failed. The temperatures can reach -20C and it works perfectly.

when it is charged all the way is the green light supose to flash or a constant green light without flashing

I got a used one with my motorcycle. I'm wondering if it works for an AGM battery. Seems like it got hot along with the battery. Probably should have just hooked up my big charger to top battery off first. Do want to know if it works for AGM battery

What does the flashing ! mean? It suddenly came up on my GOOD 12 volt battery I'm wintering.

my guess is the Everstart battery. Never buy Walmart batteries.... just saying.

It's a good charger, but unless you want to be charging for 8 hours to days (depending on the battery charge state) , spend a bit more and get the Genius 2 (A) or Genius 5(A). I have a 1.5 amp smart trickle charger and it usually takes anywhere from 3-5 hours to top up my car battery weekly.

Its a trickle for sure. Just to keep your car batteries good when sitting for long time periods. I've had it for a year now and still works great. Keeps the vettes and mercedes going. Especially the dam merc's battery eating electrics. I've got 4amp, 5amp, and 40amp chargers to bring back the dead.

I did everything you said for my car battery, main use is for maintenance, but just had to jump it cause it was dead. I attatched my pos/neg, plugged it in, an orange light came on,(standby?), 6 volts came up..wanted 12...then the red light with the explanation point and that orange light at the bottom started blinking back and forth. No big light came on in the middle and I can't change it to 12V...Help!

It'll only do 0.75amps. So if the battery is bad or the drain is more than 0.75amps it won't keep it alive. Check your car for a big drain. Disconnect the battery positive and put a amp meter between the battery and positive and see what the draw is. Then start pulling fuses until the draw decreases to find the problem circuit.

Not a very good charger I had mine for about 2 years and all of a sudden just stopped working. All the lights start blinking like it's going haywire and I've tried this on multiple Good batteries and different plugins and still the same thing. The technology behind these new ones are great but there never built to last so practically a waste of money.
