Top tip! If you like tofu, and you also like noodles. You will find in your Asian market something called tofu sheets (Qian zhang). Cut them into strips like pasta, I boil them for about 4 minutes, then just put them in whatever sauce you want. They are insanely high protein. They have the texture of a very thin but Al Dente pasta and taste ever so vaguely of tofu. I don't understand why Western people have not deemed this the ultimate in high protein, low calorie food. You can put it in cold salads. I like mine in stir frys in place of noodles.

They’re a little hard to find even in asian grocery stores. I live in Pittsburgh, PA which has a looot of Asians (because of the universities). Lots of Asian stores here obviously, but most are on the smaller side. I’ve only seen one so far that has a variety of tofu that isn’t in blocks, and that store is in the Strip District which is known for terrible parking and heavy tourists... so you would have to decide if it’s worth the hassle 😅 that’s a great tip though! I will try that out!

I feel like it was a trigger warning for those with EDs. She did it in a sort of light hearted way. But, if someone needs to avoid calorie counting as part of a recovery from an ED its a good thing to give people a heads up on.
@erikag3333 жыл бұрын
Jordan actually did struggle with a ED and she herself said she obsessed over calories causing a ed at the beginning of her weight loss but you should check out her other videos going into more detail about it.
@_ainyy3 жыл бұрын
It's for weight loss... If someone can't watch typical weight loss content (especially since a lot of Jordan's content is around the fact that she used to be obese, and I assume her target audience is people like herself), that is not the responsibility of the content creator. People struggle with arachnaphobia, doesn't mean every spider pet hobbyist on youtube should put trigger warnings for phobias. It is the responsibility of the individual to know what they can and can't handle watching. Maybe someone struggling with anorexia or bulimia should be taught, or recognize not to click videos titled "tips for losing weight" versus requiring a warning AFTER clicking on it that this is probably triggering to them....
@kristinaerickson23533 жыл бұрын
@@_ainyy Yes being considerate of other people is just the worst. Someone can be looking for healthy food or "diet" advice but be triggered by calorie counting. Calorie counting can become sort of a compulsive disorder for someone whereas simply eating healthy may not. So fortunately some people are just generally nice and considerate of others.
@_ainyy3 жыл бұрын
@@kristinaerickson2353 I think anyone going into a weight loss video should be aware before hand of the type of content that entails... There is a difference between being considerate, and treating others or expecting to be treated like a fragile bubble.

There is a lot of information about hair care. Your specific needs depend on your hair porosity (Low, Normal, High) & Curl Type (Straight hair does have a curl type A1). Most of it is anecdotal, for me I have a very hard time because my hair is low porosity which means that it HATES protein.....& it is very hard to find protein free hair products. I honestly keep my hair lightened (except this year) just so I can use whatever products I want. The info that is helpful is the porosity info specifically, that is really the one thing you need to know about your hair....but as with everything it is still all about finding what works for your specific hair. Knowing your porosity can help you read ingredient lists & find the things that will not be great for your hair.

I can't stand spaghetti either. I would much rather have rigatoni or penne!

I feel that if Fully Raw Christina got excited about eggplant you would find it silly :))))

@deeacrt28083 жыл бұрын
@@jamient Haha, true! I should have said zucchini but that's nasty too if raw and unseasoned, in my opinion. You know what I mean.. Let's say mango 😜

I LOVE cereal, I could eat it every meal everyday haha. And it was the only thing I could stomach during my first trimester but I didn’t get sick of it because it’s too amazing.

Speaking of popcorn, when i was quite young my mother made us go on the Beverley Hills diet for a while. At the initial phase it was a single food per day or half day. I dreaded the popcorn days. Dry, no oil or salt. Uggghhh...."good" times.......

Natalie Matthews (FitVeganChef) uses Winona spray on her popcorn. It is low calorie. You might want to try that. I can’t get it in Canada. It’s at American Walmart.

I love love love all this popcorn chat. And I have a popcorn recipe for you, Like chilli nachos, but popcorn is the base. And you eat it with a teaspoon so your fingers don't get gross. This idea is how I'm going to make my millions
