Nodus did well with this one. Only nitpick is the movement. $575 for an NH35 is pushing it, in my opinion.

@@jroobz Fair point. It’s just really inexpensive watches ($200 or less) use the same movement. It might have been better to have put a better movement under the hood and charged more for it thereby better matching the case/dial/hands/finishing quality. Eg a LJP G150 4hz 68hr PR inside for $850 would have more attractive imho. Nice look though.

The DLC coating, Nodex clasp, Viton gaskets, etc. all add to the costs. The movement is regulated in house and those NH movements are workhorses.

I have one of these … great addition to my modest collection overall. The movement is absolutely fine for the price point; no complaints there. The OEM bracelet is my biggest knock … it’s lacking in weight & integrity of construction, which is something that watch enthusiasts tend to feel after wrist time. My solution was to swap to a silicone strap.

Super legible, clean design. Would be interested to see if they also release a titanium version of the Deep at some point. All bracelets should now have a on-the-fly adjustment, it's invaluable in a hot climate. I just wish I could find a 3rd party clasp like this for my exisiting watch collection.

Looks great, amazing lume. Well done. That bezel overhang will take a little getting used to, 2mm per side seems a bit much IMO, but maybe feels different in person.

Most inadvertent impacts come from the top of the crown, not the sides - as such, the bezel doubles as a crown guard, hence the huge overhang. We will publish our design brief shortly to outline why we did what we did.

I caught a quick glimpse of it in a quick video passing by their table from a Wind-Up ... I think NY?... And I immediately was like "...wait, what's that?! I think that's new!..." I see 62mas/Pelagos style dial , Seiko Tuna hands, Sinn style colors & bezel, Sinn/Pelagos/Willard style crown, 62mas style case/lugs. The only thing that's maybe missing is if this were in titanium. Then you got a very decent and original alternative to a Tudor Pelagos... And Sinn and Seiko, as u mentioned. As it is, this looks pretty sweet already. Oh, the clasp extension... I believe Zelos had a similar design and they recently fixed that extension gap and break in the aesthetics in their new Blacktip GMT. The extension portion is still external. BUT, they redesigned the extension portion to look like a smoother less jarring section between the clasp and links. Basically filling in the sides of the extensions it looks fuller and a little more complete. Maybe Nodus will update this to sometime similar later along with additional colors.

I'll bet the bezel gets bumped all the time. If I can manage to bump a baby tuna bezel, this would be a real nuisance. Although as a curious lefty I might be persuaded. But I've learned that not all NH35s are created equal. Not a plus.

Bezel does get bumped a lot in extreme situations. Better the bezel than the crown though. And yes, all movements differ between batches, but we stress test our movements beyond most standards. Especially in a watch like this, it needs to perform under pressure 😏

Great looking watch, but a no-go for me with the 9 o’clock crown and the overhanging bezel. I just know I’d hit that bezel on something the first day I owned it and it would be gone forever. Not sure why they didn’t go with a traditional 3 o’clock crown as the watch just doesn’t look right to me with the left hand drive. I think all of this trying to be different just leads to the watch looking backwards. The lefty’s will rejoice though, and us righty’s will have to open her up and rotate the dial 180*. So close…
