Almost never leave a comment, and only listened by accident as it came up on autoplay after something else but so so pleased to have had the benefit. Not somebody who would naturally gravitate to the output of either of these chaps (but will make the effort now) but this chat should be essential listening for anybody from a working-class background with aspirations in any kind of creative endeavor. The podfathers laugh is infectious. That's what i loved about in him the Foot soldier films. I saw Noel in Montego Bay airport while we were both waiting to get a flight back from Jamaica at the start of the covid lock down. Yet another great interview Podfather and well done to Noel for not laying down when told you cant do this or that. In life you can do what you want if you have the drive💯

Noel clarke is starting to become one of my inspirations that ive only found out more about the past few years. I remember a friend from school passing this DVD to me called "kidulthood" and i was like "Umm alright, lets give it a go." I always thought this wont be a massive hit, and boy was i wrong. Same with adulthood, then i see him again in Bulletproof! Man, loved the guy even more. Seen every single one, and i wish it was still going because i believe that was his throne in my opinion. And its shame when dark people cloud your light for being who you are. But hes pushed his way out of it, stronger and better than ever. Thank you Terry and the team for this awesome interview. Listened to a lot of podcasts over the last couple of years and this was truly one of the very best ones I have watched. I too hope he comes back a million times stronger and proves to everyone (not that he has to I know) that he is a good guy that was sorely wronged. When all this came out I went and bought all 3 of Bulletproof on DVD, so F**k you Sky I can pop it into my DVD player and don’t need you to rely on to stream it. I absolutely LOVE Bulletproof. I do believe things will get better for him, he deserves it, no one deserves to have their lives ruined like they did to him. One thing is SO TRUE- people (actors or not) are not your friends.

Noel is such a great guy. They were out to get him when there was no evidence. The media are so to blame for this. He is completely innocent but once they cancel you the fight back is immense. I've watched tons of podcasts with Noel, every time I'm disgusted at what happened. No charge, no arrest, all trial by media. I was gutted that Bulletproof ended how it did. It was so unfinished (obviously because they refused to renew it). No man (or woman) should be able to lose their livelihood, reputation, "friends", made suicidal, and ruin their whole life to accusations without any proof, police involvement etc. I still don't get how TV hasn't picked him back up, learn from Johnny Depp. Noel is a raw talent and it's sad we don't get to see new work.

I’m glad you both brought up 4.3.2.1, if that movie come out today it’d be absolutely everywhere and would be a total critical and financial 180 from what it was when it come out. Noel was ahead of the curb with that one by about 10 years.
