Never knew Noel's voice was this good. He is spot on and it feels very heart felt. Sometimes a bravado exterior is to cover up a very sensitive interior. I think that is the case with Noel. To sing a song this way you have to have a lot of emotional depth and put in a lot of time to develop talent. He comes across as being very flippant but I think that is all an act. He can sing lots of different styles after hearing this.

In fairness, his voice is much more timid and shy in this compared to how great his vocals have become since becoming the front man of NGHFB. He’s really put in the work and he sounds tremendous now. This song here was the rough and unpolished voice. I loved it at the time and I’m a massive fan today.

I always loved Burt Bacharach, his music brought me through my youth etc. Our daughter came along later and she was a Gallagher Bros fan. Time is but a measurement, nothing more, whereas memories they are to most people forever.
