I have been a viewer of your video for quite sometime georgiarose. I wanted to say thank you for essentially being my guitar teacher over the past year, thanks to you I have learned alot of songs from my favorite band and am also developing as a player. @PageGallagher15 Dunno. I plugged it into a 'chord namer' thingy and it told me it was an A7sus4. I think it would be an Asus4 if the top E was left open.

@georgiarose16 Noel performed "If I Had A Gun" and "AKA What A Life" on a acoustic live set for the german radio or TV "einslive" , a chance to be teached by the master itself. The link can be found on the NoelGallaghersHFB facebook page, i can't paste it here, don't know why

@themarcsman007 yeah Marc - depends if you play or mute the bottom E. I think in this case you would not play the bottom E. So x02233.

It doesn't really matter which C chord you use however, if you want to play it like Noel you should use a full C major with a G bass note. If you watch the live performance of this son on David Letterman in 2011 you can see Noel use this chord very clearly. Thanks for the tutorial mate!

The strumming pattern Down, down, down, down up *Chord change* down, down, down up *Chord change* and so on sounds good.

try strumming D,D,DUUDDUDU there's some parts where you need to split strumming between chords. eg, g, D,D, DU Asus UDDUDU not saying its perfect but seems to work

you can just use down-down-down-down-up for a basic strumming pattern, but as you play you'll probably add/drop little bits here and there.
