The part where he first sings, "He is born! He is born! The Son of God has come to dwell." Ah, it gets me every time. I imagine the Jews in that time, just struggling so hard. I imagine us nowadays, so lost and desperate. "He has come to save the world." God's firstborn of all creation (Noel), that is, the heir of all creation, and God incarnate, has come to save us all. Imagine the excitement of those Jews who realized He was who He was. Even today, poor in spirit, understanding our desperate situation, we sing Noel. Makes me cry so hard every time.

First I would say this venue did not really accommodate standing during the performance as doing so would have certainly obscured the performance for those sitting behind you. Additionally this and the full concert was edited, during the live show there were standing ovations for most of the performers additionally Tommee has a few moments where he paused and addressed the crowd which is not shown in the full concert recording.

Tommee Profitt has created THE BEST Christmas CD! I have watched this entire concert many times and still get goose bumps. This version of NOEL is the one that gets me every time. I can't watch and listen to this without getting emotional. Tommee is a genius when arranging and choosing just the right artists to perform each song. I am a hardcore loyalist to hard rock/heavy metal music. I own well over 1,000 CDs and 99.9996% of them are from somewhere in the rock genre (or else a few select movie score soundtracks). And I am not really a fan of Christmas music in general. But when I heard this stunning rendition of this song in a video I saw from Tom BetGeorge, I was instantly captivated by how beautiful and downright epic this version of the song was. I found this concert just to watch this performance, yet found myself watching (and enjoying) the entire show! Anyway, I showed this performance to my mom (who loves Christmas music) and she said she has never heard a more beautiful version of it and even said it has now ruined all other versions of the song for her as “no one has ever performed it better”. I had never heard of Stanaj before but that guy knocked it out of the park! Needless to say, the 2020 studio recorded version of this album has now become the very first Christmas music CD to sneak its way into my rock/metal CD collection and this concert CD will likely be joining it soon enough.
