This song rules and for some reason most reactors give it no love, great song with a fantastic video. Whole band is crazy talented, Syn’s guitar work on this song and album is great and same with brooks drum work, whole album is great. Anyway nice reaction

The guitar work in this song and on the entire album really is beautiful! If you haven’t yet, pleeeease listen to their new album, Life is But a Dream…. There’s more guitar than they’ve ever used, but they use it in ways you wouldn’t expect. I think it’s a truly groundbreaking album. You won’t be disappointed!

Gates sound is clean yet chaotic with how he uses the entire fretboard in solos. I tried learning some stuff and its impossible for me because he'll bend in tapping parts or bend from high notes then immediately skip to lower. String skipping too he does a lot and dont even get me started on the sweeping 🤯

It´s our real "timeline" history....beautiful music...I love solo too....fantastic arpeggios, even I´m not so "fan" of avenged....the puppets theater very cool...I like all of the parts ...simple and incisive

Doesn’t have a video but since you’re obviously a guitarist you should check out their song “sidewinder” the guitar work is fantastic and the outro acoustic solo is Fuckin amazing, their song “wicked end” has amazing guitar work too. They have a lot of great songs with amazing guitar work so can’t really go wrong choosing from most of their stuff, if you like harsh vocals checking something out from their breakthrough album waking the fallen might be for you, “and all things will end” has amazing guitar work and crazy outro guitar solo, “second heartbeat” has really great duel work as well. If you’re looking for stuff with videos next best choice would probably be any of “beast and the harlot” “bat country” “afterlife”. Anyway very long comment so Sry about that but nice reaction

Legitimate question. Why are there so many people that love the live versions so much? I usually prefer the album versions because they just sound better produced and mixed and everything. Is it because they just prefer hearing the more natural version?

Sadly, due to vocal problems at the time, m shadows indeed doesnt sound at his best on most verses. Tho the guitar work alone is EASILY one of the best from recent metal. Period. Synyster gates has yet to disappoint me a single time Tho its still kinda sad cuz m shadows used to have one of the most unique and powerful voices in metal
